Return, I say
Is no purpose
No point of my desire
But mind and heart
Choose different
And thwart all they require

Now all the facts
Speak clear against
And none therefore my travel
But all my soul yearns
And spreads doubt
Of all I have to settle

I hear your words
And feel your gaze
And clearly understand
But tough, I wouldn't disagree
My heart still speak against

I will return
But not today
And neither to that place
When all my journeys
Circle back
To trusted room and space
Did you ever wish to return to a place of your past, even though it will hurt you?
