Do you trust me?
She asks
A finger stroking your cheek
Convincing you to let go; succumb
To her honey sweet charm

But stupid you aren't
Nor misguided
With darkness swirling in her eyes
Blacker than ebony coal
Her smile sharpens
With ice

You know of her crimes
What she has done
Of the cruelty and hurt she inflicts
Upon the innocent
Yet she loves you still
There's still a chance for her in her almost shriveled heart?

No time to ponder or think
The choice is here and now
Will you save her or not?
Are you enough to make her stay?
As a ONCER I wrote this for Captain Swan after an episode on season 5 where she asked him if he trusted her.
