She loves you? No, no no.
Not like you love her, not like she loves him,
This is a different kind of poem.

You lost your heart to her the moment you first saw her,
And for a minute there you thought she felt the same,
But you should’ve known better, happiness doesn’t last,
Now you’re done playing this game.

Still, you wonder, about those times you kissed,
All the texts and the calls,
If you can only find a reason,
Why it happened at all.

But there is no reason, to her you were just another dude,
So what if she’s the love of your life? Now you are totally *******.
She loves someone else, it will never be you,
You really thought you were handsome? You don’t have a clue!

And everyone will tell you, it’s not about the face,
Only empty people judge a book by its cover,
But they are lying to themselves,
That’s how they, too, choose their lover.

So now you wait, not for her, or a miracle,
Just for the pain to go away,
In a month, or a year, or never,
He doesn’t answer when you pray.
