Hey! I'd rather be the one to sing the song of sadness
Than to hurt someone so close to me, a friend to me
Hey! I'd rather be the one to cry a thousand a rivers
Than to hurt someone so dear to me, our friendship

You said you love me more
But why just now and not before
You tried to kiss my lips
But I said no, no just please

Hey! I'd rather be the one to go to the darkness
And cry alone and stuck the pain inside my chest
Hey! I'd rather be the one to be breathless
To wear a mask, to fake a show, to past the test

Because I love you too
But it's not fair my friend so in love with you
You know I hate this
So leave now, now just, please

Hey! I'd rather be the one to sing the song of sadness
Than to hurt someone so close to me, a friend to me
Hey! I'd rather be the one to cry a thousand a rivers
Than to hurt someone so dear to me, our friendship

I've been living in the one roomed shack on the outside of town
Trying to make the ends meet but the bills keep coming round
With the children walking floors lord and my mother on the phone
Says she wants to know if my wife is there at home

So I said "Freedom is the thing that I must do just to get by
because I'm tired of walking, learning how to fly
And you can free me with your thoughts about our universal 'hi'
And when the day….come…I can meet you, bye and buy"

Poetic T
The call serenaded upon calm wave,
enticing weary ones to their graves.
Angelic calling to the thaws of man,
All would succumb when voices began.

Consuming waters enveloped sight,
As beauties voices serenaded their plight.
All of home of love was slowly erased
On salty winds their breath they could taste.

They sang a different song to each mans heart,
Telling each they were the only one, never apart.
In the deep did the truth silently now lie,
Using pawns to trick those above up high.

Many bones to bleach in the darkest abyss
The flesh of man, a taste of purest bliss,
A voice angelic even in drowning death
With each voice take in, they take their last breath
