buffoons, jack booted baboons

infinite tears fall

from mirror to phone
spending ages staring alone

lost in mindless thought
gazing inside flicking flames

be aware
vampires are draining
blood sweat tears

cold whisper
froze this beating heart
until spring

red and yellow stains
dribbled down my button down
lunchtime casualty

belugas stopped by
bobbing down Turnagain Arm
marsh mellows swimming

calm waters
quietly whispered
dreadful silence

so much fun
frying bacon naked
pop then hop

i find repose there
nestled warmly in your arms

ever green eyes
vibrant colors never fade

snow slowly melts
falls this time faster
