Love lost and the stories told, walking
Stumbling on the always uneven ledge
timeless whispers in the rocky crags
Notes slipped inside secret cracks
Wishes, dreams, hopes, dashed on
Eroding facade if human history
Lost on hard rocks showing no emotion
At the stories told, lost and never heard again
Rock is hard memories of ghostly laborers
Who placed the stones that sealed our words inside

she fell from the stars
their remnants like pixie dust
circle above her

Reaching up then downward
Toward earth the angle oak arm
Extends a helping hand

Praying mantis prey
As the swines consume the dead
The Jackyl's scale weighs

I am man
in all my disfigured beauty
the good, the bad, the ugly, for all laid bare

early plated sky
above obsidian hills
distinction by light

When the rooster crows It's
judgement day...again

Another I pray to pass as
this judgement day begins

Cannot turn away
magical that way,  they lure
My imagination, awake

If words could ****, yours would have buried me.

counting all seconds
sixty minutes, hours too
in waiting for you
tripping over all pauses
between ticks, when time does stop

Time speeding up, every second, faster
Barreling at break neck speed , recklessly
Unavoidably spiraling out of control

Wondering if they are the same
The feelings, long felt, long overdue
Waiting at the terminal for you

Love is not hard to miss
when I see it in every place
I feel it when I am alone
Isolated with my thoughts
of all our times apart

scene flashes, brightly, sparks
single moment, perfect, light
found you, framed you, forever

Forever you should, know my love
I forever have loved, you should know love
This forever and ever, please know this love

a poet writes alone
alone with you, reading his tone
inside, moved, alone

When your mind is closing in  
with the fears of any day.
A moment is required
to continue on your way.

When your body decides to quit
from the weight that you choose to bare.
A moment is required
to consider what is fair.

When your heart is aching
from all it's breaking
and you just can't go on.
A moment is required
to remember God's only son.

To put it all in perspective
and decide on a whole new look.
Take a required moment
to turn the page or maybe
try a whole new book

I exhale your name
Under my arms trembling
You breathing mine back

You said you liked me but you hated yourself
Then you said you loved me so I ran away
Then you fell in love with yourself again
And I came crawling back your way
What does that say?

Inch deep green sea
creeping ever slow, on hand and knee
searching for that one impossibility
