Passeio por entre a névoa que me esfria a alma.
Sepulturas ladeiam meus passos.
Procuro-te na solidão fria da noite.
Teu corpo jaz sob a fria lápide.
Desejo o teu beijo mórbido e frio.
Abraça-me.
Vêm, envolve-me em teus braços.
Sentes o meu coração sangrar?
Em breve estaremos juntos.

Heaven
Valhala
Paradise
Peace lies here in these words
like a stone falling slowly in water
drifting downwards into
it's final resting place
it has long since given up the fight
against the current
But we did not give up
cannot give up.
We fight valiantly for so long
until we are carried off into
a warriors heaven,
which can only be a place of peace,
the gods way of saying
"You have fought well
rest now, and forever,
rest your weary soul."

He is the brother i never had
he is the friend from far distant shores.

He is a writer a poet of life and wonder
a warrior worthy of Valhala
a hero worthy of Olympus
a soul worthy of Tir na nog from Celts.

Wildman he is called in my book
of elven folk grandmaster smith
which Hephestos himself teached
of ancient long forgotten craft.

A glass of old greek wine i raise
and wish to him Happy new year.
My gift to him my humble poem
my gift to him my gratitude
for being my brother.
Gratitude for being an inspiration.
Alas, for he is a man worthy of all
the blessings of the Gods.
Was written for a good friend from HP Mark,
thanking for being the brother i never had.

He called me again today
He was there in his cape
Scythe over shoulder, no real shape
Tricked me to join him in his eternal game
Wanted only me tonight, almost had me as well
He offered me Jack Daniel's, so I didn't feel the cold
Didn't feel the waves as his grasp took hold
He offered me his hand and I'd never grow old
Would end all the pain and let this life go
No light did I see no valhala or heaven
Just darkness and cold as I walked in his steps
Then before I had passed my face was on fire
A dog licking my cheeks, frenzied she barked
If not for her my rescue dog
I'd be gone from this earth and of its pain
She returned the favour to live today.
Asked if written of death so here is an Old work.

They have provoked her
The giant of Africa
When you stir the bees nest
You must be ready to dance
On the Cobra's tail they stepped
Does actions not beget re-actions?

In a sane society
Where human lives are treasured
Shall we continue like this?
Whose score is it to settle?
Do you want us to count scores?
This is not a battle you can win

Who cursed Africa?
Is this the Africa our fore-fathers fought for?
What really is xenophobia
Brother killing Brothers
But they forgot in a hurry
Are these the people we redeemed?

When a pride of lions are led by a Sheep
This is what you get in return
Disregard for human lives
Until their family is victimised
They enjoy in affluence
While we all suffer in abject penury

I have seen Tigers escape from Buffaloes
They stood as one indivisible entity
To defend their territory
Because enough is enough
We are a people of patience
But don't test the power of Naija

Take the battle to your leaders
Not to fellow Africans
Ask them about their electoral promises
Go to school and get a life
Acquire skills and stay empowered
You've got one more shot at peace

Go back to your history books
Read of our exploits during the  world war
Google our feats in Liberia
Have you heard about the spirit of Biafra?
That spirit still lives
The one that makes us stronger as one

Sheathe your swords of xenophobia
"Naija no dey carry last"
I hear the drums of war already
But until the beagle sounds
You have one last chance at peace
Take it, before it's off the table

To our leaders and politicians
Shame on you all
Our blood means nothing to you
Our brothers are sent to Valhala
The house of the Odin God
Our sisters ***** and maimed
Shame on you and your generation

And to you the ignorant fool
You **** your fellow Africans
Forgetting we are all flesh and blood
We share the same ancestors and lineage
This is not the Africa Madiba fought for
Shame on you all!

My fellow Nigerians
I come to you in peace
Let us explore diplomacy
They want to turn us against ourselves
Will we allow them?
"Biko, were Ndidi..."

My hands quiver as I write
My pen drips blood
I fear for my generation yet unborn
I see a revolution brewing
But let us go back to HIM
HE is the God of instant judgmen

Untamed creatures
Lurking around the pride
Seeking whom to devour
Loose guard at your peril
It's welcome to Valhala

They answer to many names
Comes in different shades and sizes
They fly in from all corners
Seeking to prey on a "Mugu"

Worse that the Bats at twilight
They lash unto you until you go dry
Should you fall for their trickery
You might have fallen for a senior colleague

They are not the finest
But they are smart
Be the crow, don't be a "Mugu"
And before you invest, investigate

— The End —
