Between sweetbriers and honeysuckles
He dances until dawn
Smiling at the sun when it arises.

Between lilacs and eglantines
He sings to the moon
When the night comes.

So pure, it's your nature.
Young boy
Never ceases to be yourself.

With a spirit of stallion
His essence is serenity
And he is a force of nature.

Like a little prince,
He is a young boy of royalty
And I'm merely his servant.

So pure, it's your nature.
Young boy
Never ceases to be yourself.

Between sweetbriers and honeysuckles
He dances 'till he drops
Just to brighten the clouds.

Between lilacs and eglantines
He sings to the stars
While the night goes away.

So pure, it's your nature.
Young boy
Never ceases to be yourself.

So pure, it's your nature.
Young boy
Never ceases to be yourself.
One of my first poems / songs.
It was to be a song.
It was part of a story.

Basilgreen tattered Weeds
Thatched --
They lay
Cluttered --
Upon the madding Floor;
Cloaked in Laurel
Where -- Once --
Sweetbriers
Flourished below the
Jacinth Nests --
