"lingured" poems
A dress of smiles covered her face as the curiosity of the taste of her lips crossed mine. As love lingured and the ambiance changed from dark to light. Rays played hop scotch on her skin as I fell in an event horizon.

General Relativity of Love
"We weren't nothing. It wasn't puppy dog love or quick awkward kisses. It was so much more than that. Late night phone calls and tired giggling conversations. Hugs so tight my broken pieces fight together for once. Butterflies everytime you laughed. Calling at midnight just to fall asleep to the sound of your voice. Kisses that lingured on my mouth remembering the soft feel of your lips. Drifting off to your heartbeat during car rides. You helped me, pulling my mind from the dark without even knowing. And smiles. Smiling at every text, because no matter what it said it was still from you. Smiling when you sang, laughed, or smiled. It was you being my everything. Wanting years instead of months. Being there anytime of any day. Setting my world on fire with just a single touch. So no, it was never nothing. To me it was real, it meant something. And no matter how hard I try it can't ever be erased from my mind. Because even though you're long gone, the memories will stay forever."

Never Nothing to Me
