DRESSMAKERS to the stars J’Aton have turned designer detectives after one of their most valuable couture gowns was stolen from a bride’s home last week. The one-of-a-kind gown, which was stolen from Leanne Bartucca’s Greenvale residence along with other valuables, is estimated to be worth more than $40,000. It weighs more than 18kg, and features intricate 100-year-old vintage French lace that has been carved and sculpted onto leather and layered tulle. J’Aton designers Anthony Pittorino and Jacob Luppino, who also made the wedding gowns of Rebecca Judd, Nadia Bartel, Jodi Gordon and Yvette Prieto, wife of Michael Jordan, are appealing to the public in the hope that if it goes for sale online, someone will recognise the distinctive dress. “We are so devastated for our dear friend Leanne; that dress has a special place in our hearts and is so sentimental to us all,” the pair said. “It’s a dress that we created especially for Leanne, it has her and her husband’s initials embroidered into the train and we just hope that if anyone recognises the distinguishable design for sale on websites or social media, that they report it to the police.” Ms Bartucca, who wore the dress in March, 2014, says she has been devastated by its theft. “It’s such a sentimental thing; my family and the J’Aton boys have been checking the internet daily in the hopes that we will see it for sale,” she said. “I had dreams of using the fabric from it for my children’s christening gowns, and even framing a section of the fabric for our home. “[The thieves] definitely knew what they were doing. As a former fashion buyer, I was surprised how much they knew — what they left behind was just as telling as what they took. “They could tell the difference between real and fake jewellery, they left certain shoe brands behind and obviously went straight for the J’Aton dress, which was covered in tissue paper and in a white box at the top of the wardrobe.” Police said they were investigating whether the burglary was in relation to another in the same area.Read more at:http://www.marieaustralia.com/white-formal-dresses | www.marieaustralia.com/black-formal-dresses

On my graduation day, I ripped down all the flimsy paper signs hanging from the ceiling, like Judd Nelson does on The Breakfast Club. I just wanted to be that cool. I also poured glitter into the water fountains so it could reflect off the drinkers eyes, as a reminder that even when you leave here you can still shine. I put my lock on backwards so it would be a ***** for faculty to take off my locker when I was gone. I turned in my cap and gown inside out, and wrote "see you then" on the tag right next to the size, hoping someone might laugh when they read it or think it was written by someone real wise when really it was some moon-eyed girl who heard it from a friend she knew long ago. I did a donut in the parking lot with my beat up Cherokee who had been down all the back roads too many nights in a row, just because I wanted to. I didn't wear underwear to the ceremony, because it made me feel free like I was finally going to be. I also sketched every dream I had on pieces of loose leaf and threw them in random places throughout the school, praying someone would find them and maybe have them too. I almost punched you, for all the times I should have back in middle school but I didn't want the principal to ask why there was blood on my hands when they handed me that fake diploma that wouldn't really come in the mail for weeks. It was just a day to congratulate all the **** you got away with as a kid, and to remind you those days are over it gets real from this point on- how comforting. I left the stage with my tongue out, hands raised saying goodbye here I go thanks for teaching me all the stuff, I never really wanted to know. And by the way, I put 20 goldfish in the girl's lavatory toilets so even when I left there'd be something hard to get rid of something you'd never forget- like me when I was gone.

We ate chicken sandwiches, mine no bun, at a table with an 80's geometric design on top of two silver metal legs with our legs intertwined. I tried to draw a comic on the wrapper, but you kept making me laugh by reenacting the conversation we had with the lady at the register who gave us the wrong change, but using a baby's voice instead. The boy mopping the floors wished desperately that we would leave, but you looked so cute with ketchup on your lip and I really, really didn't want you to drop me off. There was an Adele song on the radio that we've heard for the second time, but you sound more like a forgotten track to a John Hughes film-- a little heavy, a little messed up, a whammy bar progression with blonde hair who wore jeans and had a really cool car. I'd like to kiss you like Molly Ringwald does Judd Nelson in that movie we talked the whole way through as it played on Netflix. I'd like to wear you like a bad haircut; something no one else understands but I pull off effortlessly. You feel effortless to me. So refill my take-out cup with five different sodas, make a scene as we leave the restaurant, my hand laced up in yours, and let me drink you in as I pretend we aren't driving back home just yet.

Second Dates
Morals are learned from the person that means the most to you in your life She taught me how to live regardLESS of what others thought she taught me how to be one of the others and let people live how they want to REGARDless of what I think. she taught me to shoot for my dreams no matter how big or small. Be outspoken but not too. be nice and sometimes too much. cherish every moment no matter how sad. keep calm and cook on. she taught me how to do something for someone that someone mostly being her. She taught me to take people in as if they were my own. Care for them feed them house them. she taught me to search and find remarkable people. She is remarkable. She cares for the earth and the continuation of the human race more than any mother or father loves their child. She's getting up there in the ages. old as the dust bowl old as Woodrow Wilson through Barack Obama old as the true spirit of Council Grove She started Council Grove as far as I'm concerned. She can and will live as long as I am alive. I will continue my life for her. I will stop being mean for her I will never attempt to allow the world to end for her. She did it for not only me, but her son her daughters her grandsons and granddaughters her family that isnt of the same blood and even for you, The clueless reader. Let me break it down for you so you know what I say is true Helen Judd made a ******* difference. How about you?

How you changed me
I’m sure my parents must notice the wall I’ve built between us, brick by brick. Is it any wonder they wonder Why I clock in hours that turn into days At the theatre, the school, A plaza over I-95. It’s true, I have work. I know it, they know it. We also both know (or hope) It’s only for now. One day I’ll come back This summer, or post-college Or at the time of a tragedy And we’ll reunite No matter what age We’ll go back, step back to previous days Walk on Atlantic Avenue again Go out to dinner at the same restaurant Watch Judd Apatow movies and laugh, Together, not online.

Parental Point of View
Another gone, gone again. I thought he liked me for me. I thought i felt safe with me. I thought it would last longer than four days. The good guys always get away, but, as i always say its just one more off the list. Maybe the next one waiting for me will last. Two guys are there for me and seem like it. I want someone to be there and be able to tell me if they are good. Another gone, gone again. As i lay with my phone calling and texting two. I've never felt that comfored by someone. When will the hurting stop? when will they stop turning off the lights and keep them on? When will the heart be one? When will someone fill the pain of the hole in the heart? The girl trapped in the room. She can never get out, cause the door is locked. Though i know someone will come along with the key and let her out. Maybe he will save her for once. Another gone, gone again. Can't my life be like a movie? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. But none of that happens. Because they just want us to get hurt and do anything for them. Another gone, gone again. And i can't do anything but wait and cry.

another gone, gone again
“I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80′s movie, preferably one with a… really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, John Hughes did not direct my life.”
