En Soul-ment and tone
Will never fade away
The undulating skies and fervent seas
The bowels of grass and ****
The mighty winds
Careless tangles of swarms and open bridges and catfish and crayfish and
The reverberations of sounds and laughter
Sonorous and somnolent and alabaster
Mounds its way through the desert storms and wingless chills
Panafery conglomerates itself
Call me
It calls me
And extolls itself
Exaults itself
Highly highly praise and praises be

When I ponder the many reasons, that I adore someone like you.
It becomes quite difficult, for no amount of writing will do.
The gentleness of your being, nurtures me in a warm embrace.
The charitable nature you possess I can only admire, for it extolls your inner grace.
Your laugh is endearing, sweet and kind,
so is your heart, so pure that it amazes my mind.
Your beautiful face portrays a mask of calmness and serenity,
that when it cutely falls away sometimes, I think it's your loveliest amenity.
When your rosy cheeks blush, it makes my heart soar.
I cannot resist the desire, to make them redden more.
Your passion for love makes you a jewel to me, so I hope its no surprise,
that the wealth of your soul is evident, in the sapphire and emerald adorning your eyes.
Your profession defines what you truly are to me,
the woman that nursed an old scarred heart, back to being whole and free.
I will say this, so my message is clear,
even if it breaks the rhyming tradition that I hold dear.
I adore you as much as there are stars in the sky,
and as much as there are grains of sand in the sea.
I just want you to know, my Witty Kitty, how much you mean to me.
The Fire Burns Aug 2017
From Tycho's crater on the moon,
looking at the blue Earth, I swoon,
comets burn across the sky,
where planets and the sun, do fly.

Mercury races with flaming wings
on its surface, heat it stings,
liquid metal in swollen pools
heat and pressure create jewels.

Our red cousin where rovers roam,
perhaps someday we will call it home,
melting water at its poles,
terraforming Hawking extolls.

The swirling storm of Jupiter's eye,
the swirling clouds of the Venus sky,
icy bands engage around Saturn,
stars light the darkness as a lantern.

Deeper out Uranus and Neptune,
into the blackness, we enter soon,
out past Pluto and sister Charon,
where the system, just gets barren.

Into the darkness, the unknown,
it may be where God hides his throne,
or it might just be only dark matter,
but one day soon, like seeds we'll scatter.

Letting go
Yet holding fast
Dreams a reality
Covered with dust
Yesterday’s tomorrows
A golden calf
Longing for diversion
In an empty paragraph

Farther down the road
The hyperbole of fate
Nothing to lose
In the chances we take

Holding on to daydreams
In the nexus of time
Fondling eternity
With an extension wand

Tired of chasing rainbows
Through the looking glass within
A hexagram remembered
A character remembered
With a double chin
All the cards on the table
Arranged in careful rows
Extending and expanding
Like a fine suit of clothes

After all the sorrows
The joy
A new refrain
A single written moment
Unheard
Unlocked
Unheralded
To gather new momentum
In the harbinger of fame

Long live the peaceful moment
Beware they last like dew
Forever ever after
Remains an endless hue
Of colors pink and gray now
A travesty of fate
Impaled on good intentions
That rattle from behind

And longing for hereafter
In a bottle filled with gin
Extolls a simple meaning
Of time held in proximity
To the hologram of light
That refreshes the soul forever
Giving grace to single entries
In the sketch-book of hope

Farwell to empty shadows
As time alone stands still
Farwell to chasing rainbows
The piper pays the bill

Glory and redemption
Appear
Go hand in hand
Time to move on forward
Time to understand
