April showers bring May flowers,
yes this is true,
but what do Mays’ flower filled days bring?
June.
And what is June to me an you?
June is Summer.
June has that one single day where the bell finally rings,
and you swear you hear angels sing,
but really
its everyone's insane screams.
June is all those wonderful sticky hot days.
Sticky hot days that you can’t possibly seem to get enough of.
June is sunny
sleep overs,
sprinklers,
and
summery goodness.
Summery goodness, how can you explain that vibrant feeling?
I don't think there is a real experience in life
that could equal up to that feeling.
If i had to guess,
It’d be exactly like dancing on a rainbow
It’d be just like flying in a room with a thousand fire flies.
We all know that feeling
of unforgetful, fascinating fun.
Everyday is like a new book, just waiting to be written in.
And every Summer is like a lifetime,
try and look back on one single day,
you know its impossible.
Your mind soon fills with
every other day there has been
and every other day there will be.
Sure, you may have stacks of pictures,
and you may have written in your diary
about that one moment of pure bliss,
or a special kiss.
but those summer days,
no matter how special they may be
could never possible be explained.
and that's what makes those days so special to you.
So, April showers bring May flowers.
Yes this is true,
but what does May bring?
Its way too wondrous to explain.

because plugging in earbuds
and pretending the people you love
hate
or dont know
dont exist
is easier than realizing your alone
better than explaining why you exist
to people
who couldnt care less
better than explaing why you exist
to yourself
and hiding in a song you know all the words of
in a melody you can replay in your mind at anytime
because we as humans hide
so run from your own presence
because plugging in your earbuds
is easier than learning
how to survive

jelly bones cracked his wrist
and wouldn't go to school in the morning.
Kept his notes in the back of his jeans,
and when he bent over
he couldn't reach.

there was a song about those notes
and he sung even though he was out of key.
partly joking, or just a tease?
she keeps her distance,
explaing how water that feels like sunburns are the best part of her day.

Oh sweet miracle, I'm not gonna lie.
I can swim any day and
Now
I think it's time to fly.

-Some people think structure is beauty, others find that chaos is beauty just the same. Perhaps each idea that pops into our heads wont be the one we hoped it would be, but then realized expectations leave you dry.
Being here in this moment, focused on the now, it's not as easy as it could be today, but I feel the times are quickly changing.

-On time:
it's just so easy to make false assumptions about this notion,
                 this measurement,
but perhaps that's all a part of this game we call life.
Let's play a game to see who gets their name
                                                    on the fridge
and a pat on the back.
"My friends. We see things so differently and yet we seem them exactly the same."
They often ask whats your language
English mate then comes ones the reply
Which one they say comes the question
Is it USA .. U K .. Australian then I sigh

Go to court hand on book do you swear
Would you clarify that question mate
The book written almost a life time ago
Your answer this part of it all how I hate

Australian mate you then say frowning
You might be one of 300 religions true
And next what Country from orignally
Academic out back or Aussie Slang too

Then in Australia you have different ways
Of telling it all in order to explain as well
Could be what you really think feel a yarn
Seriously or joking that bit really rings a bell

Aussies at times not lying can be fair dinkum
Honest as or just telling as they say a yarn
Depending on the conversation thats at hand
How can I put this truth from church or barn

One can't go on the printed word on computers
Need to be looking at the explaing ones face
Then comes the question how far up the road
Might be a few miles might be 500 to that place

I had real long hair and on computere one day
They were asking just how long is your hair
I said ***** Nelson said I had longer than he
To answer the question that was for me there

Someone wrote Dad and I are laughing madly
Might have been ***** I have'nt got a clue
Of course he never said that to me at all mate
They were laughing at me and me at them too

In Australia conversatons at times can be truth
Or just how can I put this or a yarn it might be
Expessions not a part of computer conversations
Or Australian form of how can I put this poetry

I often wonder how a Muslim feels in a court
Hand on book do you swear to tell the truth
Sitting up the back of the court I smile some
What a stupid question as I whisper .. Struth
