i forgot how to be myself for a while.
but i've returned, and it caused a smile.
i've emerged from the depths of whatever buried me alive.
i've crawled out from the underworld where i pretended to survive.
and i never understood why i couldnt shine under this light,
but when i move the lamp around, i glow ever so bright.

i never knew it to be possible until now, that you could lose yourself if you let it go too long.
and how could i forget what made me so evervescent from the start, trying to play another part when i was
casted in the perfect role myself.

i dont think i know how to love, i just pretend.
but love is silly, love is meaningless, but i guess it all depends.
cause i have fought the rainstorms without shelter for so long
but somehow im still here, and i never gave myself the credit for being so strong.

and they all talk, i hear the whispers bouncing off the walls.
i can pretend to be ignorant, but i see behind the smog.
and all ive wanted was to hold a place in a heart that had no empty seats
so ill find another show.

Wars are fought for every second.
Lip to lip
Tension and discretion.
Love left bleeding by Desperation.
Watching the reds run till He owns nothing at all.

Battles inside for slightest control,
Eye to eye,
Reflection and dejection.
Happiness marred by Admiration,
Driven to **** what once He craved

Sexuality vibrant and clear in target,
Hip to Hip,
Incandescent and Evervescent.
Innocent slaughtered by Virility.
Forsaken by drink and every instinct.

Concepts that are ancient in our art,
Warp waither and die.
Murdered by those it creates.
So much of what we once held high,
In our values we let crumble and die.

Somile.
I'm back.
I haven't been away.
I've been drowning.
Of course...
It's been a sea of happiness.

Water inflates my lungs and then there is nothing to do
          but shout.
Sounds invade my ears and there is nothing to do
          but dance.
Light reflects my soul and there is nothing to do
          but shine.
The world is yours but don't you ever forget the world is mine.

I will lift you up.
I will make you sing.
I will make you remember you are a part of everything.

Now breathe deep in nothing.
Thank her gentle caress.
Without her YOU would be nothing.
Light something for this.

If you light ****, I say, "Good job, don't forget the day,"
If you light a torch, I say, "May it show your way."
If at last you starve, I say, "Eat, you are not done."
If at night you glow, I say, "The stars, too, have their fun."

Be evervescent, iridescent, soon to grab your hold.
Find your fight, sail each night, marvel at what you behold.
Sing your song, make it long; play what you can and you will.
Be alright, be a sight, laugh til you laugh, until...

Everstill.

Or Neverstill?
