Attention!

How funny and ironic
It is! (lighten up)
That we have tickle me
Elmos

We thought it was safe
but now I think the behavorial
message is a bit
Crude

Oooh that tickles!
My apologies I just had to share this with the next twisted mind
that could find humor in the most inappropriate times.

Times Square was once a ****** place;
You wouldn’t go alone there.
When darkness fell, you held on or
You’d lose all that you owned there.

Today, though, it’s like Disney World,
With tourists, loud and surging.
There’s not an inch of space unfilled
Since everyone’s converging:

The families from Idaho,
The hawkers giving passes,
The Elmos and the messengers,
The bused-in high school classes…

The lunch-break workers, homeless dudes,
The theater geeks and shoppers,
The food carts, cabbies and the cops
And all the teenyboppers.

I love New York; don’t get me wrong
But oftentimes I wonder
If gentrifying Broadway
Might have been a whopping blunder.

In the end
Holding on to hope
Was worse
Than releasing her despair.
It was an ionized illusion
St. Elmos' blaze
Without the burn.

-    But still
     She held her hands out
     Towards this flame
And even as they froze
She kept her eye on the fire
Transfixed
By the etheric images
That leapt from the embers.

Had she pounded
The subfusc earth
To rail against her lot
And slapped the salty rills
From her cheeks
She might have lived.
But she stood still
Too buoyed by hope
To notice
That the flame was cold
And icing her bones.

cradle me to sleep
like a child out to sea
cradle me to sleep
set sail let us dream

we'll sail on an old pirate ship
chasing treasure and gold
we''ll capture an old schooner
travel on oceans silk road
we'll follow an old sea captain
watch him chase an old white whale
look to see if there's an ouroboros
swallowing his very own tale
we'll watch colors sing and dance
across a star-filled ancient sky
see if the man in the moon
winks as we pass him on by

cradle me to sleep
child-like setting out to sea
cradle me to sleep
 come and sail with me

we'll pause at a long lost island
to look at an old wishing well
gold roman coins looking back
as we bid them fond farewell
laugh as we stand at bow
dipping into ocean swells
hear them ringing in our ears
as we pass old mission bells
watch as St. Elmos fire plays
lighting up the blackest night
moving up and down our lines
marveling at such a sight

cradle me to sleep
let's set sail out to sea
cradle me to sleep
hold me as we dream

she calls me
she calls me & I don't answer
she calls to say her grandma
is failing fast & the twins
aren't sleeping & they're angry

come on over I say
I only have two calloused hands
& a sixty hour work week
bony feet & a bottle of
chocolate wine & I ask if she's ever
slept four on a full sized mattress

the boys will be fine I say
bring both elmos
a set of pastel paints
& you can run your fuzzy-sock feet
up my legs & warm your small hands
on my space heater heartbeat

grandma will see good Friday
& easter sunday I say
& probably even her own
late April birthday
barely audible as the boys snore
like miniature sawmills
through peppermint toothpaste
ringed open mouths

the last thing I feel before sleep
is her smile stretching across my
bare chest & her hands catch fire
& wander toward a cooler spot of skin

What can I say without reaping the hitch
fasting on pills and potions in the land of the Witch

You have all heard this  story in many way shape and form
Not knowing I too was in the life of constant newborn
Now 46 years and had not a clue
Just so you know I prayed hellaciously for all of you

My love was real and always right on time
The Father he made me this Epic rewind

Been called Lucifer in the land of the Witch
Like Pink said in the song her Morphine is a Bi^%$

Maybe it took so long cause i played the part
or I do not  know maybe this is the End of a Start

I take one to not hear and one to grow
I've been called Alice
The Hatter told me so!

Also a Dorothy
My
Daisy in tow

No red clicking shoes could have ever returned me home

My hell hound kept near
bare feet finned and finely calloused

Zues his brain
yes Jesus digressed
Wonder Woman and Aquaman
Lept from his vest

Both in motion for the witch and her crew

Will take action together
Hate will undo

In Epic Laugh of a madman Vincent Price
The Thriller Epic~~~
She bangs words on a device

Chicken Pox and ET phoned home

Now she is Christmas Kevin in Home Alone

Pretty in Pink
He wears it better

To the Witch in my Wardrobe
I will leave you a sweater

At 3 am the hour of death
I think of St. Elmos fire alit in my head

To my Breakfast Club
and the Bad Judd

This Pretty woman waits

My course.

O'father i promised you to hold my course.
Through the harsh waters  in northern  force.
Icing deck, elmos fire, insidious leak as my faith.
O'father your poor boy working in swathe.
I hope i make you happy when i follow my star.
Your crew let me bleed from my scars.
O'father who thaught me a man's moral.
I always steer clear of the stony coral.
Your crew kicks me down for everything good.
They are just as corrupt as the boys from the hood.
O'father i did leave the crook on his glorious path.
it seems i am the only one who needs a hot bath.
Your crew has put their dirt on my humble body.
O'father who brought me a poison toddy.
When we drank in the holy galley  at noon.
Only one to blame he'll be officer soon.
Let him the lucifer ****** the maidens.
O'father i have  ursa in my bow.
The ship does turn away from plough.
The crew will mislead in our night
and spoil our fight     //j.k//
