"drifing" poems
The world holds no weight . The sky bears no mass. In which I see I am as I will always be. Hollow; Drifing; Through this life that means no more than a single blade of grass upon which I lay; Observing: We are but a wall of clouds Floating; Waiting to pass. Through this sky. A sky that bears no mass.

Sky gazing
your eyes are fathomless chasms and i find myself falling once in a while the way alice tumbled down the rabbit hole you are a paradoxical metaphor representing every bright spectrum of my gray-tinted universe i count shooting stars and dandelions sometimes i even think i see your smile in the constellations are you the wisps of clouds on a particularly rainy day? drifing with no direction i often reach out to you though i never seem to grasp you perhaps to me it's as if you are everywhere but i can't seem to find you anywhere - - -

metaphorical
A small girl sitting in the wind, enduring gale after gale of pondering wondering if she has the confidence within. She fights herself while enduring the raging winds A breeze of fresh air turns into a dark, question mark. The young girls mind has heavy water torrents raging inside She wants to drown cuz she wants to survive I'm screaming against the wind wishing I could heal her with words that burst from within with fire burning from the heart tears dripping down my chin turn to ice making blisters on my skin It leaves me paralyzed from the pain that's in her wind She turns around showing the purest smile courage shining brightly behind those saddened eyes which ignites me I'm in awe, inspired of that strength that hearts desire "You stand strong with no eye in this storm! But it's a fight you will win! You ignite the people around you because your heart is heard through the roar in these winds! You will soar through the sky in your mind because that strength already lies within!" My words never reached her because she stood up and walked her path proudly I can only hope she catches a few of my words that are now drifing in the wind.

A small girl sitting in the wind
I sit here Contemplating how to conquer my fear Can I alter the wheel? Or just Fall down and kneel? I must Have something to live for, some Spark to ignite, some Purpose to endure, these Pains in the night, still... I sit here Searching for a way out of the pattern It doesn't matter to the scheme, but It keeps me from sleeping Scattered thoughts, in a blink I'm lost again, for naught, cause Memories are so decieving... I sit here Thinking so what if Im selfish? Are you saying you're not? Ha! The prospect is childish, this "Who said what again", nonsense, Is boring the **** outta me...so I sit here Waiting for the reckoning. Patiently, drifing through this Time and space and happening, Chasing pleasures, and vices, no Remorse when the dice roll Snakes eyes see through cold stone, I can tell you arent alive so... I sit here...
