"choicelessly" poems
In foreign land of towering pines And hammocks, mangrove-torn A dark-filled night reluctantly Bequeaths a pale dawn Upon one battered cypress perched, Amidst the morning haze, Bright eyes stare out from part-cocked head With piscicultural gaze. Intently focussed on the brook, That glides beneath the tree Alive to every shadow’s sound Yet never truly free. For choicelessly these eyes are drawn, As waters break below And like a flash a head snaps back And rippled muscles flow. Within the slightest moment’s breath, Two mighty wings released, Two claws full-stretched, two legs reach out The sinews, strained, unleashed. The beaten air the only sound, As time itself stands still And, tracer-like, on charted course The osprey meets its **** With consummate and practiced ease The painless end begins The single deadly blow is dealt As sharpened claws sink in. Then up away into the dawn And time resumes its course Two final beats – then disappeared Is this magnetic force. The cypress perch and well-filled brook As silent witness stay And as they settle – calm again The sun declares the day.

~~~ Testimony & Majesty: Oh God, Why Do You Inflict Me? ~~~ Morning dawning... Thickened whitened whipped cumulus come crossing, no frenzied froth, moving slow royal, stately, as if they are the pride of a celestial navy, peaceful ships, crossing from my portal to your port, traversing from my shade of the blues, over to you, poet, to your personal  screen-adapted CinemaScope version sights This wind buffets, re-directing my morning~borning hallelujahs this wind, nameless, call it chipper, fulsome and volatile, a proud pusher selling a waking up near-chill pill, to accompany the real+imagined armada of nature it, near and nearer to you, to the sky we inhabit+share, its ***** stiffening energy, makes some hide inside, not me, I'm outed by the harsh welcome~touch of this realized reminder - who is the master, who is but an obedient servant, choicelessly writing his psalmist morning devotions... another poem of sky, cloud and wind? *Oh God why do you inflict me? with this time after time obeisance when I am metaphor drained and disabled, abject of adjectives, simile frowning upside downing, have we poets not done our dutiful illuminating your bountiful works?* yet here I am, a soul surviving, incapable of resistance, your frosted creatures persistent, wrest my visions into prose, to add to your overly full Facebook page, with more fawning praise... *Angered have I, you, for now nowhere, tropical rain squall tells all, humans are toys, born to serve, silence your complaining~explaining, and from nowhere with rapido intensity rising, down pours drops of scornful water whippings, demarcating our incoming existence inequality...* and yet with your yang and yang, a reproach for me, for as it waterspout pours, it also pours sunshine, a mystifying warning to the put-upon poet, that in the admixture of nature and life, all is conflicted, all is tremulous beautiful, and now is the due time... *due, you, to complete this treatise as testimony to majesty...* ~~~
I never knew trees move always with all of their insides along horizontal lines and towards vertical ups in curly circular turbulent motions and never keep still reach to the tiniest veins on top one by one time by time non stop and unitedly create wind All of the winds of the planet! I thought it was otherwise I thought they kept still just Wait to speak somehow or mumble until the winds would show up or bow their heads until they'd be swept away choicelessly accept move or die but no they move as such ... by all their insides so that winds are created upon their dance request It is a call to ventilate the earth and they have eyes ! different than ours they can see multiple skies they whirl so clouds can pass   faster than we know to see they see as if we accelerated a camera motion but also they see more skies than one not like us ….just one not like us …...only when we look up cause their eyes make the clouds and skies pass and all that they do  is all they can do because they are rooted to the earth fully …. here they are always one with the earth always supported by the earth only to create that curly vertical neverending motion so that it delivers same frequency creatures back to the earth I never knew that they are so busy always at breathe is not easy for simpler ones like us imagine not a gap alone oh no I never knew until I became a tree alone :)
