Look at the torches and lighters while they wave.
Do you ever care about the darkness they'd make?
Or about the light that they take?
The shadows shake,
To hear the questions asked by romantic's prey.
No my ****** up friend,
It's another question asked due to my actions,
Because you needed help and I led you astray!
You were a victim of the knife with which I play!
Answer me a question!
Would God ask for your soul to steal?
What about your skin to peel?
And I'll keep saying,
I'm sorry I could not conclude,
Did not mean to be rude,
I was distracted by all of these terms and conditions,
All the questions they all ask of me,
And I don't deal well with authority.
Truth be told I think we're meant to ask questions,
So that we may hide in our answers!
So here is a question:
Do questions die?
This one took a lot out of me, I need a nap. And you all should listen to "Youth Is Wasted On the Young"- Architects

I  hope you                          regret breaking
my tiny fragile heart          into a million and one
splintered shards of bitter/sweet, broken memories
just as much as I regret fall\ing for you and that ever-
present sparemint scent/that seems impossible
to shake off of my mi\nd as much as I try
and off of my/ lips, which
are noth\ing but
dry.

She walks between both worlds
She is life and she is death
She shines with a radiance that blinds
She is dark and she is light
She is our savior as the blood we taint
runs through her veins.

She is the moon and the sun
that rains it's benevolence upon our rusted souls
and she is the prayer that countless may whisper
to arrange us into wholes.

She speaks of wisdom,
as the crown placed upon her head,
which spills of silken spirals,
declares her our leader
and we will follow her through the evil.

She is our hope,
for we have lost it all
along the bloodied battle field.

And if my flesh may bleed
I dare bleed for her,
and if my life is stolen,
I dare grant it to her.

For every breath I draw
is a promise of my loyalty.

I will walk these plains
with open eyes
and walk this Earth
in silence

For I will never speak her name,
and she will never ask that I do.

"I love you"* I said

"I ❤ you" you said

And that fake heart is exactly what you meant by it.
Words are emotions, expressed from the heart. 'Love' in a 'symbolic' love heart spells fake to me, there is a certain uneasiness surrounding it...

Why dwell on the comfort
Of dusting off the adversity
That profane the corners
Of our compartments

When we can
Call upon courage
And write for those
Without the strength to crawl out
Of the hollow caves
They live in?

               You
                  And
                    I
Are blessed with the curse of
Seeing beyond the masquerades
Of others
That it becomes haunting not
To tap into their souls

And wander in the
Caves of their minds
To find the reason behind
The warped interior,

The vague, and sometimes
Vivid Answers to
           Why
They're sinking in
Self imposed darkness,

They feel they're slaves
To and in liberation,

They feel they can't be forgiven
For the sins they
Unintentionally created,

They feel so empty and hollow
And dead within that there's
Nothing, but dead spaces
Between heart beats,

They're engulfed in
Flames that they're turning
Everything they caress to ash

With every bit of
                 Taste,
                 Touch,
                 Smell

Lulling us into euphorias
Where fragments of
             Sound,
               Images,
                 Fragrances,
                  Thoughts,
Compound to a jungle of words
That we lose ourselves in,
Perhaps then,
We become a tad bit closer
To finding
Ourselves,
Perhaps.
The second verse was adapted from Nat Lipstadt's 'An Intimate Courage'

And this is my cheap attempt at saying we've got purpose, maybe.
