Of all the places we can go
     the library walls are endless,
with secrets only some will know.

Surely making many minds grow,
with wisdom that is so precious,
Of all the places we can go.

Truly we do enjoy the flow
of all the letters in sentence,
with secrets only some will know.

All time stops because of the show,
leaving us caught up and breathless,
Of all the places we can go.

Mesmerized by the colors glow
As all the spines are numerous,
With secrets only some will know.

We love to come here to hang low,
     Gain free knowledge is tremendous.
Of all the places we can go,
With secrets only some will know.
Decided to try to write in a new form - this one is called a villanelle.
Her eyes are dead and glassy
A bottle always seems to be glued to her hand
She rarely puts it down
Her house is as tipsy as she is
I'm always afraid of falling in
She always falls flat
Her voice is merely a croak
But she still manages to lie to my face
She sounds like a broken record
Her mind is like jello by now
The alcohol that flows through her is like poison
She is always forgetting but she never forgives
Her excuses are tired
"I'm sorry" is no longer a part of her vocabulary
She has forgotten my birthday for 6 years straight
Her skull is too thick for reason
Alcoholics are the masters of denial
She claims that she is ready to die
When she finally does,
I will not be sad.
I will not cry.
*She has been a walking corpse for as long as I can remember.
rough draft. I hate watching people drink because of her, but I am too nice to say so.
I remove the veil that covers my mind
My retreat will not be heard
To the outside in the realm of society
I shall never utter another word
With complete knowledge of consequence and cost
I close the so called conscience world off

Dreaming in my own dimension
As I delightfully drift through the air
Throughout the universe
A sparkling starlight night
My imagination on wings of flight

Deeds of brave knights
Fair damsels
Invading aliens and wizard kings
Witches spirits and sprites
Breaking delicate fairy rings

This is the world I have created for myself
The one of magic troll and elf
Of all these things
In my script I will tell
This is now my reality
I removed the veil

Sitting here in the sand
I know no matter how many times I've been here before
This is where I want to be when my life ends
The way I sit facing the water
I can't turn away
Cause I'm watching the ocean
I'm waiting for when it decides to swallow me.
And I'm inclined to let it
'Cause I know it's going to bring peace to me.
The sand, my favorite kind of messy
The water, just the right kind of salty
Makes my hair all tangled and my skin all scratchy
But I've never known a better kind of love.
I know I belong with you in the summer.
My thoughts are with you when it's cold.
I love my bittersweet insignificance and innocence
When I know I'm only here 'cause of you.
My first non-depressing poem! I'm really not a sad person, when you get to know me. :)
I heard that tomorrows not promised today...
But what if what if I died tommarrow?
What would they have to say?
I don't want no regrets no no.
i am in love

like in the clouds in love

like floating in the sea in love

like relaxing in a tree in love

i am in love

with the dimples in your cheeks

with the glow in your eyes

with the shape of your lips

i am in love

unconditionally

wholeheartedly

deeply

with you
I hear my fate
surrounding your every touch
and my heart bleeds
in every shade of you.
Because of you,
the colors of my life
have become
a golden sea of happiness,
your sweet love........
breathes into.

You fulfill every dream
that has ever exhaled
into the deepest parts
of my heart.
Dearest,
my soul runs to you whispering,
“I have arrived
with no end to my trust,
from your side..........
I will not part”.
