life has ups and downs just like a fairground ride

one day your are up next day down you  slide

always unpredictable what will be wil be

what life has in store you have to wait and see.



some days they are different others much the same

all a part of life as it plays its game

we must carry on stand up and be strong

when life plays its game we must play along

there was a little fish he lived underneath
below the sea so blue on a great big reef
he loved to swim around in and out of reed
this was his favorite place and where he loved to feed

oneday he was swimming he heard a little cry
somewhere very close somewhere near by
fish he swam around to see what it could be
fish he was so clever a clever fish was he

then he saw some bubbles rising in the air
fish he took a look to see what was there
it was a little crab trying to break free
caught up in the **** very stuck was he.

fish began to chew all around the ****
he chewed and chewed and chewed
till the crab was freed

crab he was so happy at what the fish had done
free again once more now he could have some fun
they played along together as happy as can be
in there home so deep beneath the deep blue sea

i like to hear the rain tapping on the pain

tapping once tapping twice tapping once again

running just like teardrops from a teary eye

rolling down the glass as they go rolling bye



then the sun comes out and dries away the rain

i will wait once more until it rains again.

i sat down by a pond one bright and sunny day
i sat there a while passing time away.

watching all the ducks as they were floating by
peaceful as can be beneath a summer sky.

there were lots of geese as big as big can be
swimming in the reed so beautiful and free.

i was so relaxed it made life seem so gay
sitting by the pond just passing time away.

little billie badger joined a circus show
he just loved trapeze and longed to have a go
swinging two and fro flying with such ease
doing lots of  tricks and hanging by his knees

looking at the crowd on the ground below
flying like a bird putting on his show
enteraining people is all he long to do
a circus entertainer was his dream come true

there was a little spider he went on holiday
just to have a change somewhere far away
he packed up his case and pyjamas to
and his favorite cds he took quite a few

he went across to switzerland he just love to ski
in the snowy mountains he just long to be
he put on his hat and his jumper to
and his colored scarf yellow red and blue

headed for the slopes to begin his ski
adrenalin was pumping excited now was he
putting on his skis he began his run
sliding down the mountains he was having fun.

swerving in and out going very fast
looking at the view as he went sailing past
sliding to the bottom using all his skill
his holiday abroad had gave him such a thrill

spider he got tired and went to rest his head
put on his pyjamas climbed into his bed
then fell fast asleep and dreamed the night away
thinking of his fun and his holiday

santa he took poorly on a christma eve
being ill at christmas he could not believe
he was very sad it had to be this way
no one would get there presents on  there christmas day
santa called  his reindeers  and loaded up there sleigh
they were very clever and sent them on the way
delivering the presents to all the girls and boys
so on christmas day they would get there toys
santa he got better and cannot believe it still
a christmas without santa because he had taken ill.

the world it as gone mad in this day and age
there is so much violence a world so full of rage
everywhere theres crime blood is getting spilled
gangs are on the rampage people getting killed
the world is full of fear everywhere you go
will it ever end we dont really know
we must carry on living day by day
hoping maybe one day all this will go away

sun is coming out spring is in its way
warming up the ground on a spring time
daffodil and crocus they are popping through
from beneath the ground beneath the sky so blue

you can hear the birds sing there morning song
bringing in the dawn as they sing along
trees begin to bud. as leaves begin to grow
all the signs of spring that give your heart a glow

cancer is a killer of that there is no doubt
liked a paid assasin taking people out
creeping round the body spreading all around
just like a contract killer dosent make a sound

taking young and old when it feels the need
has no shame or morals just its deadly deed
we must find a cure to stop its killing spree
then the assassin know as cancer will no longer be

the beauty of the amazon its river big and wide
lots of jungle trees with animals locked inside
jaguars and monkeys and there are lizards to
many plants of wonder that are nice to view
there are anacondas  roaming wild and free
this one of many snakes for all the world to see
a picture to behold a gift from up above
the beauty of the amazon is something that i love

i like to watch the badgers strolling through the night

such a lovely creature with stripes of black and white

underneath the moon looking for a treat

something nice and tasty that he loves to eat.

there was a singing cat a country cat was he
had dream that one day a country star would be
he headed of to nashville to sing and play guitar
this it was his chance to be a country star
they held a competition  to find the next big thing
cat  got his guitar then begin to sing
he sang a lovely ballad with his soft and gentle voice
he was made the winner he was the peoples choice
now he was star singing country songs
living down in nasville where the cat belongs

when the snow is falling its such a lovely sight

as the snow flakes drop so pure and so white

lighting up the night on roof tops and the ground

landing oh so gently it dosent make a sound



such a lovely picture natures work of art

that brings love and warmth to everybodys heart

i love to watch the snowfall bringing such delight

falling very gently makes the world seem bright

i walked the shores of dublin looking out to sea
white horses on the waves rolling wild and free
covering the sand heading to the shore
coming home again coming home once more

there i met a girl she stopped and said hello
we sat down together watched the water flow
stars were shining bright in the sky above
i looked in to her. eyes and began to fall in love.

then i held her hand we walked a little more
with the moon above lighting up the shore
then we held each other i squeezed and held her tight
underneath the moon and the stars so bright.

we looked at the clouds as they were floating bye
all the shapes they made in the dublin sky
tide began to turn to roll away once more
as it rolled away to some other shore

we settled down together raised a family
in love for evermore we would always be
with the girl i met that set my heart a whirl
and forever more she will be my dublin girl

i saw a little horse a clever horse was he
he came up to the gate to say hello to me.

he began to count by tapping on the floor
counting one to ten then counted on some more.

doing lots of tricks especially for me
doing them real close so that i would see.

i fed him with some grass then he began to chew
then run around his field beneath the sky so blue

there was a little badger and his name was bill
he lived in a hole beneath a great big hill
he would roam around whenever it was night
looking for his food beneath the bright moonlight
one night when he was walking he heard a little yell
where ever it was coming from he really could not tell
he moved a little closer to listen to the sound
then it was getting louder coming from the ground
badger started digging until he made a hole
then he saw his friend a tiny little mole
the poor mole was stuck and  trying to get free
dont worry said the badger just hang on to me
badger pulled him out the mole he was so glad
then he thanked the badger the best friend he ever had

when i was in the garden i saw a bumble bee
in his stripey suit a lovely chap was he
flying round the flowers flying all around
happy and content with his buzzing sound

buzzing round the trees and all along the plants
landed on the rose bush and did a little dance
i sat there a while and watched him having fun
then he flew away underneath the sun

high up in the mountains where the hillbillies stay
they all get together dance the night away
folks all get togther party all night long
with there hillbilly sound and a hillbilly song

fiddles and banjos and the steel guitars
they dance the night away underneath the stars
a little bit of moonshine puts dancing in there feet
dancing all night long to the hillbilly beat

there was a great big turkey a great big chap was he
and for christmas dinner this great big chap could be
turkey he was clever  and could sense a christmas day
he ran into the barn and hid among the hay
he stayed there a while till christmas it had gone
knowing he was safe and his life would carry on
turkey he was happy  and free just as before
to roam again so freely till christmas time once more

little badger bill lived on badger hill
he got bored oneday went looking for thrill
he went in to the village to the fair ground show
lots of different rides there on which he could have a go

there was a great big wheel high up in the air
and ghost train too that would make you scare
there was a roller coaster it had lots of speed
with its twist and turns very fast indeed.

badger took his seat and strapped himself well in
his roller coaster ride was ready to begin
high in to the air the coaster did ascend
then suddenly a dip then a twisty bend

badger he just loved it and enjoyed the speed
the thrill that he was looking for was a thrill indeed
he went on every ride and enjoyed his day
his boredom now had gone so very far away.

dont sit there and suffer with a troubled mind
bottled up inside wont leave it all behind
find someone to talk to tell your troubles to
they will understand and be there for you
wether its abuse drink and drugs  as well
find someone to listen to them your troubles tell
dont sit there and suffer its not worth in the end
just someone to talk to will help your life to mend

take a little love add a little bliss
then warm embrace and seal it with a kiss.

add a lot of feeling  and emotion to
put two hearts together for a love so true.

all across the universe nature can be found
there are lots of flowers other plants there to
so many different kinds there are quite a few

mother natures children to bring us such delight
that makes us feel so happy and the world so bright

there going to cull the badgers the creatures of the night
reducing all there numbers take them out of sight
they say  they spread diseases to cattle in the field
now the badgers fate is well and truly sealed
it seems such a shame **** them all that way
why cant they find another place and let the badgers stay

wether you are fat wether you are thin
wether you are skinny or have a double chin
inside you have a heart and have feelings too
no matter who you are theres love inside of you.

outside dosent matter the inside is the part
that gives its love to you from within your heart
love is there inside you, love is for us all
no matter what you look like love it has no wall.

looks they count for nothing its what inside of you
love it is for all for the whole world through
something that we have something that we share

i looked across a field and saw a kestrel fly
hovering in a field that was near by.

floating in the air on the summer breeze
he was very skillful and floated with such ease.

then he seem to swoop down towards the ground
so very soft and quiet he didnt make a sound.

then when he flew up again he had caught a mouse
then he flew away with it. back to his kestrel house.

there was a little duck his pond had turned to ice
for the little duck it wasnt very nice
the duck he made  a sleigh to go  and have some fun
before the ice would melt underneath the sun
he was very happy going too a fro
playing on his sleigh on the frozen snow
he played there a while as happy as can be
filled with lots of laughter and heart so full of glee

silent night holy night above a stable a star shines bright
there inside a baby lay in a manger in the hay
born a king on christmas day for all mankind to  lead the way
to teach us all the way to live how to love and to forgive
this holy child born this day who gave us christmas from so faraway

i had a dream of bluebirds flying in the sky
singing songs of love as they were flying by
flying all in unison singing all in tune
my heart began to melt as they began to croon

with there bright blue feathers flying high above
singing all together there lovely song of love
i wont forget the dream or the bluebirds that i saw
i hope that they return in to my dreams once more

castles in the air dragons flying by
fairies with there wands floating in the sky.

sitting there so sweetly singing songs of love.

lots and lots of flowers scattered all around
blooming there so brightly covering the ground.

multi colored butterflies and pretty little bees
busy as can be in the gentle breeze.

the sun it has a smile to brighten up the day
in this land of fantasy so very far away.

i like to watch the weasel a funny chap his he
running through the hedge is where he longs to be.

he  his very slender as nimble as can be
a natural gift of nature running wild and free.

he  his very cute and always makes me smile
running in and out in his weasel style.

such a lovely creature for all the world to see
bringing so much happiness in his life so free

i wandered through the barley so beautiful and gold
so wonderful to touch so wonderful to hold
underneath the sun growing oh so high
standing very upright reaching for the sky
growing very free growing in the wild
looking very lovely so gentle meek and mild
such a lovely site and growing oh so tall
the day i walked through barley is a day i will recall.

if the world had only peace  how happy it would be

no more war or violence a world thats trouble free

everyone united no matter what the race

living all in harmony in each and every place.



no more discimination no matter what your creed

starvation would be gone the whole world we could feed

theres legend of a dragon they tell in donegal
he  has great big wings nearly ten foot tall
soars around the valleys. when the moon is bright
blowing out is fire lighting up the night

maybe it is true  a dragon could be there
flying all around flying every where.

this is just a legend just what people say
the dragon we believe in will be there to stay

now when it comes to christmas he always uses doors

there was a little flea he just love to jump
over any hurdle and each and every bump
he entered the flea olympics  to see who was the best
he  put in for the high jump to put him to the test
first they had the bar set  really really low
and gradually it got higher to have another go
the little flea he  jumped  high into the sky
over  the hurdle bar the little flea did fly
now he was the champ this little athelete
he had won his medal and made his life complete

there was a little pig he just loved the sky
hoping maybe one day he could learn to fly
he made him self some wings from branches on the floor
he began to flap the he began to soar
high up the air the little pig did fly
high up in the clouds in the bright blue sky
pig  he was  delighted a pilot now was he
flying through the sky flying wild and free

christmas for the homeless is just another day
just a day of lonlieness no where they can stay
living in a doorway in the cold and snow
in cardbox no where they can go.

just another day as lonely as can be
no christmas decorations or a christmas tree
no presents they can open on a christmas day
happiness and joy seems so far away.

i walked the barley field standing oh so bold
blowing in the breeze with its leaves of gold
sun was beating down as i walked along my way
through the fields of barley on a summers day

it was very peaceful it made me feel so whole
such a tranquil feeling it reached in to my soul
such a lovely feeling it made me feel so free
walking through the barley brought all this to me

i like to watch the squirrel climbing in a tree
swinging branch to branch as happy as can be
with his curley tail and his cheeky face
happy and content in his woodland place

gathering his nuts for his favourite treat
his favourite food of all and what he loves to eat
i sit there and watch them they bring a smile to me
they make me feel so happy and fill my heart with glee.
