i have little cat and he lives with me
he his very clever a clever cat is he
one day i went shopping and i had lost my key
i looked everywhere but  my key i couldnt see
i thought about my cat being all alone
i was stuck outside stood there on my own
but my cat was clever and noticed my spare key
he opened up the letterbox and handed it to me
next time i go out i shall leave my key next door
then i can still get in and lose my key no more

little eddie hedgehog wanders round at at night
especially when hungry and has an appetite.

he wanders through the hedge to see what he can find
to see if there is food of the hedgehog kind.

he has a coat of spikes that stick up in the air
so the others know whenever he is there.

then when he gets tired in to the hedge will crawl
then  goes fast asleep rolled up into a ball

if we have respect then we have our pride

happy and content with ourself inside

have respect for life in everthing you do

life will do the same give respect to you.



have respect for others of each and every race

each and everywhere respect  it has its place

something we can give something we can share

show respect for others each and everywhere

the leopard and the cheetah decided they would race
to see who was the fasted with the faster pace
they made up a track around the sandy plain
first one to the end then race back again.

they lined up together leopard shouted go
cheetah right behind him he kept his pace real slow
saving all his energy ready for the end
then his faster pace  cheetah he would send.

the race was near the end  leopard was a head
cheetah he changed gear left leopard there for dead
cheetah won the  race the fasted one was he
fasted creature in the world he was meant to be.

there was a little  hedgehog of the pilot sort
to fly an helicopter was his only thought
flying in the sky all along the sea
an helicopter pilot he just long to be.

he booked some flying lessons at an airport near by
so he could get his wings once he learnt to fly.
hedgehog past his test now he could fly alone
in an helcopter flying on his own

now hedgehog he was ready and headed for the sky
high above the clouds he began to fly
suddenly he saw what looked like a flare
flying past his window gave him quite a scare.

hedgehog circled round to see what it could be
there he saw dinghy floating in the sea.
it was his friend the badger he was in distress
badger was in trouble and in such a mess.

hedgehog he got closer he was very brave
and his friend the badger hedghog he would save.

he dropped down a line to his little friend
badger  he grabbed hold and hung on to the end
hedgehog pulled him up and pulled his friend aboard
then in to the air hedgehog quickly soared

he had saved the badger.he was safe once more
flew him back to land to the safety of the shore
hedghog waved goodbye then he flew away
and his still a pilot to this very day

there was a little parrot who went on holiday
he went to find his family so very far away
he flew across the ocean and the deep blue sea
till he got to africa where he long to be
landing on the beach he walked along the  shore
the place that he was born and been there before
he searched for a while  to find his  family
they were all together sat up in a tree
parrot he was happy he was home again once more
back with all his family just like it was before.

there was  a garden gnome a funny little man
he had big red face and held a water can
as soon  as it was dark and no one was a around
he would water plants all around the ground
he would water flowers and the apple tree
very late at  night  so no one else could see
gnome he loved to garden it was his favourite chore
when the daylight  came he turned to stone once more

while looking out my window i heard the ice cream man
there out side my door with his ice cream van
there were lots of children standing all around
attracted by the van with its funny sound
they were buying lollies and and a chocolate ice
buying lots of things that looked so very nice
when the crowd had cleared i bought my self a treat
i was like a child again eating something sweet.

there was a little cub a lion cub was he
he dreamed of being king and one day he would be
with his big long mane a ruler of his pride
and his lioness walking by his side
he would be the leader and teach them right from wrong
the king of all the jungle so mighty big and strong

seasons come seasons go
some bring rain some bring snow
autumn leaves fall to the ground
and are scattered all around .

mountains covered with the snow
winters here they let us know.

flowers bud birds they sing
in the season off the spring.

summer sun gives a shine
to let us see the weathers fine.

the seasons come to our front door
when we count them there are four.

underneath the ocean in the deep blue sea
lived an octopus a funny chap was he
he had many legs eight he had in all
in and out rocks the octopus would crawl
swimming round the reef swimming everywhere
with his life so free life without a care
one day on his travels he heard a bubbled sound
coming from the rocks somewhere on the ground
he got a little closer to see it what it could be
it was his friend the lobster very stuck was he
lobster he was sad he couldnt move at all
as he was in the rocks they began to fall
trapping lobster in unable to break free
he was very stuck at the bottom of the sea
octopus was clever an knew what to do
i will use my legs he said and pull the rocks from you
octopus he pulled with his legs so strong
he used all his legs so it didnt take to long
lobster he was free and could swim again once more
no longer was he trapped like he was before
of they swam together as happy as can be
having lots fun  both so full of glee

there was a little labrador he was very kind
he was very thoughtful and loved to help the blind
help them cross the road he would be there guide
help them cross in safety  to the otherside.

picking up the post coming through the door
moving objects in the way clearing up the floor
walking by there side while they were in the park
when ever there was danger he would give a bark

he loved helping people especially the blind
always there when needed and always very kind.

i wish i was a dolphin if only for a day
with his spirit free as he begins to play
swimming in the ocean having lots of fun
in the sea so blue underneath the sun.

making people happy with my cheeky smile
i wish i was a dolphin if only for a while

i like the kangaroo with his little pouch
carrying his children as inside they crouch
jumping through the air he begins to hop
traveling on for miles then a little stop

all along the plain he just likes to roam
kicking up the sand of his desert home
he has a lovely face and ears that are long
he has lots of strength and is very strong

a lovely sight to see that fills you with delight
watching kangaroos makes life seem so bright.

there was little leopard and he just long to be
a roman gladiator fighting to be free
he made himself a hat that was made of tin
then made a little sword very long and thin.

he entered the arena  ready to begin
looking for a fight hoping he could win
then began the battle  the crowd began to roar
leopard he had won and the crowd all yelled for more.

he had won his freedom and his life was free
a gladiator now just like he longed to be.

new year here then soon the spring
mother natures wonderous thing
daffodils push up through ground
crocus snowdrops all around
birds are singing with delight
sun comes out shining bright
bluebells looking so petite
very cute and oh so sweet
this is springtime natures way
of making life so bright and gay

there was a little hedgehog and his name was spike
he used to ride a around on his little bike
riding through the woods and all along the lane
any sort of weather even wind and rain
while riding down the lane  one fine sunny day
he heard a little cry not to far away
he rode a little closer to see what it could be
it was a little shrew very sad was he
the poor chap was stuck in the muddy clay
no matter how he tried he couldnt get away
hedgehog he was clever and new what to do
so  he dug the clay away from beneath the shrew
little shrew was happy free from all the clay
he said goodbye to hedgehog and went along his way
hedgehog carried on riding on his bike
shrew he wont forget his little friend called spike

a dog is always man best friend
he is with you till the end
a better friend you wont find
always gentle always kind
when your down he always there
there beside you with loving care
always faithful always true
always there to comfort you
mans best friend he will stay
it will always be that way

there was a little badger a lovely little soul
his favourite thing of all was take his daily stroll
he would walk for miles every single day
strolling through the woods to pass the time away.

oneday on his travels he heard a little yell
where the sound was coming from he couldnt really tell
he moved a little closer to see what it could be
there he saw an hedgehog trying to break free.

hedgehog he was stuck the poor little chap
he became entangled in a poachers trap
caught up  a net very stuck was he
badger said dont worry i will set you free.

he began to chew. through the trap that had been laid.
chewing through the net till a hole was made
hedgehog he was free and was stuck no more
and strolled of with badger along the forest floor

harry was a hedgehog he loved the rodeo
a visit to america decided he would go
he boarded  on a plane to the U.S.A
way across the ocean so very faraway.

he headed for the venue to see the the rodeo
then he put his name down so he could have ago
harry was excited as happy as can be
now he could ride the rodeo for everyone to see

harrys name was called and mounted on his horse
now his time had come to ride around the course
he new all the tricks and new what to do
chasing after steer with his big lasso

people they all loved him shouted out for more
an hedgehog ride a rodeo they never saw before
hedgehog he was happy his dream it had come true
riding in a rodeo is all he longed to do

i saw a little hedgehog while walking in a field
curled up in ball with his  head concealed
all his little spikes sticking from his side
he was fast asleep snuggled up inside

then when he woke up he rolled out from his ball
stretched his little body and he began to crawl
he had a lovely face as cute as cute can be
with big brown eyes he looked up at me

then he carried on looking for a treat
for some tasty insects and things he like to eat
he made me feel so happy this creature of the wild
with his life of freedom and mother natures child.

there was a little duck a clever duck was he
he just love the snow and he just loved to ski
he took a little trip for a skiing holiday
in the land of austria so very far away
packing up a bag he boarded on plane
sitting by the window to look out of the pane
he was very happy as happy as can be
and all along the mountain tops he could plainly see
he reached his destination and headed for the snow
with his little skis so he could have ago
he climbed up a mountain high up in the sky
then he  could ski down again and watch the world go by
swerving in and out with his speed so fast
racing to the bottom till the finish line was passed
going over bumps flying through the air
jumping over everything  he really didnt care
he got to the bottom is skiing it was done
it gave him such a thrill and he enjoyed the fun

its nice to watch the dolphins  swimming in the sea
swimming with such grace swimming wild and free
standing on there tales having lots of fun
playing with  there friends underneath the sun
doing lots of tricks  in the sea so blue
making people happy the way that dolphins do

there was a little turtle his shell it had a leek
the rain was getting in he had not slept all week
he was very stressed and he began to cry
spotted by an albatross flying near by
the albatross flew down and saw  a little crack
running down the middle of the turtles back
dont worry said the albatross i know the thing to do
i will get some leaves and make a shelter just for you
the albatross gathered leaves and made a little tent
then when it was finished in the turtle went.
the turtle he was happy now in his tent so deep
he curled his shell and caught up with some sleep.

there was a little ostrich he just loved to race
very fast was  he with a very speedy pace
one day he decided to be an athelete
in the olympic games ostrich would compete
he put on his number on  his racing vest
the number 29 was the one he like the best
he stood on the start line till it was time to go
then ostrich  he set off starting very slow
he  just took it easy till  half  way through  the race
then ostrich he got faster and set his faster pace
ostrich won his race feeling  proud and bold
then he took his prize a medal made of gold

little spike the hedgehog the sporty type was he
he just loved the water and loved to water ski
pulled behind a boat riding on the crest
riding on the waves this he liked the best.

jumping over ramps high up in the air
people were amazed they would stop and stare
doing little spins this he liked to do
then a little flip with a trick or two

everybody loved him and loved to watch his skill
just to watch the hedgehog gave them such a thrill

there was a little ladybird she was very sad
she had lost her spots the only ones she had
noticed by an hedgehog who was walking by
he had seen the ladybird as she began to cry
then he asked the ladybird what was the reason why
i have lost my spots she said and dont know what to do
hedgehog said dont worry i will find your spots for you
so they started looking in the forest ground
when hedgehog saw a leaf and on it something round
i have found your spots he said now you can have them back
then of they walked together down the forest track.

in the outback of australia lived a kangaroo
helping lots of people thats what he liked to
while hopping through the woods heard a little cry
coming from the wood somewhere near by.

he searched a little more to what it could be
then he saw a koala bear stuck up in a tree
the kangaroo  jumped up with a mighty bound
save the little bear and took him to the ground.

now the bear was safe and rescued from the tree
the little bear was happy and once again was free
he thanked the kangaroo for saving him that day
kangaroo said goodbye and hopped along his way

there was a little horse he dreamed of having fame
to win a big horse race where he could make his name
he began to train and run around the course
training everyday to be the fastest horse

round and round he went preparing for his race
with his little stop watch checking on his pace
now the horse ready for his racing day
soon what he had dreamed of would be underway

he went down to the track to his starting stall
waiting for the starter to give is starting call
now the race was on horse he took the lead
running like a train very fast indeed
no one else could catch him he was far to fast
racing on his own as the winning post  went past

now he was a champ he had made his name
the fastest horse alive in the hall of fame

i like to watch the dolphins swimming in the sea
having lots of fun swimming wild and free
leaping in the air underneath the sun
swimming all together having lots of fun.

with there smiley face as happy as can be
just to watch them swim brings such joy to me
such a lovely creature mother natures child
a master of the sea swimming in the wild

while looking out my window i heard the ice cream man
there out side my door with his ice cream van
there were lots of children standing all around

i had a little parrot he didnt seem to care
he used to talk a lot and sometimes used to swear
he had lots of colors like red and green and blue
if you held your hand out he would come to you.

he was very friendly and so very cute
he looked like a clown in his colored suit
he liked to talk a lot especially at night
but i could shut him up by turning off the light.

then he would go to sleep as quiet as can be
then i would put my feet up with the parrot next to me.

little ollie otter took a trip once more
to somewhere far away to a far off shore
he took a trip to switzerland
he just love to ski
skiing down the mountains he just long to be.

skiing through the snow skiing down the side
with his skiing skill ollie he would slide
he climbed a snowy mountain so he could have a go
ollie he set off sliding through the snow

going very fast on each and every bend
using all his skill till he reached the end
ollie he was happy it gave him such a thrill
he just  long to ski down a mountain hill.

ollie he went home his hoilday was done
then fell fast asleep and dreamed of all his fun

i saw a great big mushroom growing in a field
hiding in the grass very much concealed
he had a great big head as big as big can be
growing in the field very wild and free
then i picked it up and took it home with me
added eggs and bacon and ate it for my tea

i like to watch the dolphins swimming in the sea
they are always happy as friendly as can be
they are very clever intelligence galore
just to watch the dolphins is something i adore.

they always make me smile whenever there around
with there great big smile and there dolphin sound
such a lovely creature swimming wild and free
just to watch the dolphins mean so much to me

i wish i was a fish swimming in a brook
swimming in the river and every little nook
in and out of reed having lots of fun
coming up for air basking in the sun

hiding under rocks from the fishermen
wait until there gone then come out again
swimming with the flow as it goes down stream
swimming past the roach and the golden bream

i would be so happy just to be a fish and hope i dont get caught
would be my only wish.

there was a teddy bear he had a barbecue
invited all his friends there quite a few
a little fluffy cat and a chimpanzee
a soldier in a uniform very smart was he
there was a little owl and parrot to
gathered all together for the barbecue
teddy did the cooking burgers in a bun
everyone was happy having lots of fun
when the party ended they all went away
and thanked the little bear for such a lovely day

there was a little cow her name was daisy may
she  had wandered from her field and she began to stray
she had lost direction and  had lost her track
and for the little cow there was no way back
the little cow was sad with teardrops in her eye
noticed by a crow  who was gently flying by
crow he asked  the cow why did she start cry
i have lost my way she said  from where i used to be
i will take you back said crow just you follow me
crow  he was clever he could  sense her smell
where the cow had come from he plainly tell
he led her to the field where she was before
cow she shut the gate and never wandered anymore

everyone  has dignity everyone has pride
something we are born something deep inside
it helps us everyday in everything we do
pride within our self that helps to pull us through
dignity we hold there within our soul
that makes us feel so proud and make us feel so whole
no matter who you are no matter what you do
dignity and pride are there inside of you

there was a little mole a clever chap was he

he lived underground living wild and free

always digging holes every here and there

leaving lots of hills each and every where.



one day he was digging he heard a funny sound

it was very loud underneath the ground

mole he started digging to see where it could be

then he saw a shrew very stuck was he



the little shrew had fallen down a great big hole

now the shrew was trapped poor little soul

the shrew he started crying teardrops down his face

dont worry said the mole i will free you from this place.



mole began to a dig a tunnel underground

he dug for quite a while till way out had been found

shrew he was so happy he was free once more

he was free again just like he was before





shrew he thanked the mole and went along his way

and from great big holes shrew he stayed away

mole he carried on digging underground

still thinks about the shrew and the way out he had found

i like to watch the cheetah as he begins his chase
running like the wind with his speedy pace
chasing down his prey with such skill and grace
like a racing car he begins his race'.

then in to the air he will quickly bounce
landing on to his prey with a mighty pounce
the fasted of them all a lovely chap his he
a hunter of the wild with a life so free

there was a little snowman he was very bold
not like all the others he always felt the cold
the snowman built a fire  so he could feel some heat
built it very carefully and made it very neat
as the fire burned and it began to glow
now he was getting warm  and the cold began to go
snowman fell asleep  by the fireside
forgot about the cold that he felt inside
he began to melt while he was in his sleep
and woke as a puddle nearly to feet deep

the jaguar is a cat from the basin of brazil
just to see  this creature makes the time stand still
such a skillful hunter with  elegance and grace
a very skillful cat in this jungle place
they hunt for there prey there variety is strong
animals and turtles whatever comes along
they will climb a tree like a little thrush
sitting there in wait setting there ambush
they will quickly pounce with one almighty bite
thats how he kills his prey when the time is right
this creature from the amazon is such a lovely site
filled with so much grace and fills me with delight

there was a little seagull he got lost at sea
miles away from home very sad was he
he had lost his course and he began to roam
many miles from anywhere he had lost his home

he was all alone with no land anywhere
feeling very frightened he began to scare
suddenly a crow who was passing by
saw the little seagull alone up in the sky
seagull he told crow how he was lost at sea
dont worry said the crow just you follow me

crow began to fly with seagull there behind
hoping seagulls home.  together they would find
after quite sometime flying over sea
crow he saw some seagulls a great big family
seagull he was happy home again once more
back with all his family just like he was before

there was little octopus he just loved to sing
but the thing he loved most of all was the highland fling
he would play his bagpipes and do his little dance
with his funny legs he just love to prance
he just loved the bagpipes he just played away
doing his little jig that made him bright and gay
he was very happy in scottish kilt
with his little hat he wore at a tilt
he just loved the joy that it used bring
he was very happy to do the highland fling.

i had a ride on pegasus he flew me oh so high
with his great big wings flying through the sky
he took me to a place that i have never been
a place so full of fantasy that i have never seen
lots of little unicorns flying all around
with lots of funny creatures walking on the ground
there were lots of flowers standing tall and proud
with a lots of colored birds singing out so loud
everything was peaceful so beautiful and free
the horse that they call pegasus showed all this to me

i had little parrot all it did was swear
no matter who was in no matter who was there
i was so embarrassed my face was always red
getting any visitors i used to always dread
everything he said was always very crude
every word he spoke was so very rude
i covered up his cage this it made him worse
no matter what i did he always used to curse
i taped up his beak and left him overnight
this had done the trick now he his polite
now the cursing gone so has my red face
he his back to normal gone has my disgrace
