there was a little turtle his shell it had a leek
the rain was getting in he hadnt slept all week.

he was very stressed and he began to cry
spotted by an seagull flying near by.

the seagull he flew down and saw the little crack
running down the middle of the turtles back.

dont worry said the seagull i know the thing to do
i will get some leaves and make a tent for you.

the seagull gathered leaves and made a little tent
then when it was finished inside the turtle went.

the turtle he was happy in his tent so deep
he curled up in his shell and caught up with some sleep.

theres a little mouse of the sporty sort
snowboarding he loved best it was his favorite sport
he took a holiday so he could have ago
all the way to Austria a land with lots of snow
took his little board and his goggles too
to protect his eyes and get a better view
he climbed up a mountain to the very top
then on to his board the little mouse would hop
sliding down the slopes going very fast
doing twists and turn while he was going passed
lots of little spins that gave it such a thrill
doing lots of tricks showing of his skill
he got to the bottom of the mountain side
coming to a stop with a gentle slide
people gathered round to see this sporty chap
they began to cheer as they began to clap
mouse he was so happy and the crowd were too
his holiday and dreams they had all come true

we have inner peace. it helps to keep us calm
makes us feel so safe whenever we feel harm
it is there inside. there to call upon
when we need it most it helps us carry on.

there inside your body in your heart and soul
there to give you peace always on patrol.
everybody has its there inside of you
inner peace is there watching over you

little daisy duck she just loved to bake
and decided oneday an apple pie  would make
strolled down to the shops to make her recipe
she was very clever a clever duck was she.

bought a bag of flower apples and a bowl
and a spoon to mix with such a clever soul
then in to the kitchen she began to bake
following her recipe and a pie did make.

put it in the oven cooked it nice and slow
she just loved to bake it gave her heart a glow
when the pie was finished her baking was complete
sat down at the table to enjoy her little treat.

a smiley face is happy a smiley face is glad
never ever dismal never ever sad
full of happiness bringing such delight
making life worth while making life so bright.

so wear a smiley face each and everyday
this will make you happy keep the blues away
make your life worth while and worth living for
take away the sadness and smile again once more

i had a little daydream just the other day
my mind began to drift to a land so far away
there were little lovebirds flying all around
quiet and so peaceful you couldnt hear a sound
it was just like heaven in the sky above
such a lovely place filled with so much love
everyone was happy in this land so gay
this little daydream land so very far away

there was  little cow he was black and white
and he used to sleep walk whenever it was night
he wandered all around walking in his sleep
all around the meadow then in among the sheep
he wandered through the dale and all along the glen
then he would turn around and walk back home again
back in to his bed the little cow would creep
the he would settle down and fall back fast asleep

there was little shark he lived in the sea
he swam around the ocean as happy as can be
one day when he was swimming he heard a little yell
where the noise was coming from he really couldnt tell
he swam a little closer to try and find the sound
there he saw a lobster *** stuck into the ground
inside he saw  the lobster locked inside the ***
and to free the lobster it would take a lot
the shark he used his teeth to open door
then realeased the lobster who was free once more
lobster he got wise and kept away from pots
then he thanked the shark thanked him lots and lots

i saw a little goldfish swimming in a bowl
at the local fairground the poor little soul
he swam round round with very little room
going up and down in his little tomb.

coming to the top to try and get his air
in his bowl so small it really wasnt fair
i took him home with me he looked very sad
i put in my pond this it made him glad.

he could move around now he had the space
a proper goldfish home in a proper goldfish place

theres a little hedgehog as cute as cute can be
he lives in my garden beneath my willow tree.

he comes out at night so he can have a play
when the dawn returns he sleeps the day away.

then at winter time  and it begins to snow
into his hibernation the little chap will go.

waiting for the spring and sun begin to soar
hedgehog will  return and roam around once more

while i was in my garden an hedgehog i did see
he was fast a sleep beside my willow tree
rolled up in a ball tucked up nice and neat
such a lovely chap small and very sweet.

then when he a woke he began to stroll
all around the garden such a lovely soul
looking for some food. insects and some grubs
in and out the flowers in between the shrubs.

when he finished eating. back to my tree once more
then fell fast a sleep like he was before

people going mad telephones there hacking
all along coast they want to do some fracking
looking for some gas all along the shore
disturbing all the sea life like they did before
they dont seem to care about the consequence
public up in arms feelings so intense
anti fracking groups with there protest fight
fighting for there cause and what they think is right
why cant the frackers go and be fracking free
and  leave the place forever and give us back our sea

love it can be hurtful when it  begins to turn
it can twist your mind make you crash and burn
take away your heart and your feelings to
it can turn to hate take the soul from you.

fill you with despair you just want to hide
takes away emotion and all your love inside
love it can be hurtful when the love as gone
you must find your faith and will to carry on.

everyone  has dignity everyone has pride
something we are born with. something deep inside.

it helps us everyday in everything we do
pride within our self that helps to pull us through.

dignity we hold there within our soul
that makes us feel so proud and make us feel so whole.

no matter who you are no matter what you do
dignity and pride are there inside of you

turn a set back to a come back dont let it get you down
you can use the come back to take away the frown
setback is the passed a phase that you go through
comebacks they are better and is best for you
take away the setback and just soldier on
simply use your comeback till the setbacks have all gone

there was a little meerkat he lived in zoo
miles away from home feeling very blue
missing all his family very sad was he
hoping maybe oneday his family he would see.

he decided to escape anyway he can
meerkat he was clever and made himself a plan
he waited till the dark so no one else could see
squeezed out from his cage now at last was free.

then he saw a boat anchored in the bay
meerkat decided he would stowaway
then the boat set sail and headed out to sea
he was heading home happy now was he.

meerkat made it home to his desert land
underneath the sun with miles and miles of sand.
surrounded by his family like he was before
happy and content he was home once more.

theres a big old windmill standing on hill
standing very tall standing very still
with his great big sails spinning round and round
blowing in the wind as the grain is ground

turning in to flour all those years ago
even through the winter and the rain and snow
now the times have changed its just a memory
of the days gone by and how it used to be

think about the homeless theres no place to go
living in box in the rain and snow
living in the ruff  no where they can hide
no where to keep warm from the cold outside
think about there life and how it used to be
before they all became a homeless tragedy
think about homeless there are quite a few
and thank the lord above the homeless is not you

i have a little kitten a cheeky chap is he

he climbs upon my chair and sits up on my knee

lies upon his back for me to stroke his fur

happy and content as he begins to purr.



gives a loud meow when its time to eat

jumps down to the floor waiting for a treat

then he as a play for a little while

he is very funny and always makes me smile.



then when he gets tired back upon knee

shuts his little eyes then falls asleep on me

such a cheeky chap but i just love him so

he makes me feel so happy and gives my heart a glow.

grandad he is funny just 90 years old
even in the summer he always says its cold
he likes to tell his stories of how he used to be
how he led his life living wild and free.

nights he used to have drinking in the pubs
dancing with the ladies in the local clubs
days with all his friends and all the fun he had
pulling lots of pranks a proper jack the lad.

now he as grown old not like he used to be
in his mind his younger days he will always see
i love him very much he means the world to me
a grandad in a million that led his life so free

the snow leopard he his lovely such a sight to see
he used to have a life that was wild and free
then the poachers came on a killing spree
now theres not as many as there used to be.

cutting numbers down killing for there hide
now there life of freedom suddenly denied
now they face ecstinction soon there will be none
we must try to save the before they all are gone.

it is such a sin to see them fade away
we should try to save them and let the leopard stay

i have a litte tortoise and is name his fred
he lives in my garden underneath the shed
when the sun comes out he comes out to play
happy and content as he plays away.

he roams around the garden looking for a treat
for a tasty lettuce leaf thats what he loves to eat
he just takes is time walking round so slow
then when he gets tired back to the shed he goes

climbing underneath to his little bed
where its nice and cool underneath the shed

when the moon is full the wolves they gather round
with there werewolf howl a loud and shrieking sound
looking for there pray looking for a bite
looking for a soul that wanders in the night
to fill it full of demons  evil and so strange
when the moon is full into a wolf will change
a curse to last forever that you cant take back
you become a devil a member of the pack

there was a little labrador he was very kind
he was very thoughtful and love to help the blind
help them cross the road he would be there guide
help them cross in safety  to the otherside.

picking up the post coming through the door
moving objects in the way clearing up the floor
walking by there side while they were in the park
when ever there was danger he would give a bark

he loved helping people especially the blind
always there when needed and always very kind.

i love to watch the falcon flying in the sky
hovering on the wind  has he passes by
to watch  him swooping down  gives me a thrill
gently dropping down as he makes his ****
holds it in talons  then gently flies away
takes it to his nest so he can eat his prey

there was a little hamster he boarded on a ship
took his little suit case for his little trip
he sailed across the sea on a great big boat
standing on the deck as it began to float
he was heading for america in the usa
to visit san francisco and its great big bay
he landed in america then headed for the shore
sat down by the bay then headed home once more

there was a little elf he came from galway bay
across the sea in ireland not to far away
he lived in the  forest in the hollow of tree
always very happy a happy elf was he
one day on his travels along the forest track
he saw his friend the hedgehog lying on his back
hedgehog had rolled over and his spikes were stuck
in to the forest floor his little spikes did tuck
elf he had a ***** the he carried round
he began to dig into the forest ground
elf he freed the hedgehog he dug away the muck
hedgehog he was free again and no longer stuck
they strolled along together along forest floor
hedgehog he was happy and free again once more

if we have respect then we have our pride

happy and content with ourself inside

have respect for life in everthing you do

life will do the same give respect to you.

there was a little mouse he loved a fairground ride
on the roller coaster he just love to glide
sliding riding the bends going very fast
waving to the crowd as he was going past

riding on the ghost train gave him such delight
skeletons and ghouls gave him such a fright.
riding on the track feeling every bump
then a big loud scream this it made him jump.

then on to the dipper high up in the air
travelling so fast he just love the scare.
going oh so fast it  would quickly dash
running through the water making such a splash

when his fun was over he took a rest and then
waiting for tomorrow to do it all again.

there was little mouse as happy as can be
he was very sporty and loved to water ski
he would ride the waves from behind a boat
by standing on his skis he would stay afloat
he could turn and spin on his little ski
riding on the waves made him feel so free
he just loved the water and riding on the crest
riding on the waves was what he liked the best
then when he got tired and it was time to rest
he would go to sleep inside his little nest

little billy ****** he got bored one day
decided he would take a trip a weekend breakaway
he headed for the beach for some sand and sun
just to have a change and have lots of fun

he packed up his tent for his weekend home
then along the beach the ****** took a roam
****** saw a dolphin swimming in the sea
****** swam to join him for some company

they began to play together in the sea
both were very happy and so full of glee
dolphin had a ball and tossed with his nose
and the ****** caught it in between his toes

they were having fun as they played away
happy and content passing on the day
when the sun went down  dolphin swam away
he waved goodbye to ****** and swam across the bay

****** he was happy and his heart content
then he fell fast asleep in his little tent.

there was a little hedgehog and his name was spike
he used to ride a around on his little bike
riding through the woods and all along the lane
any sort of weather even wind and rain.

while riding down the lane  one fine sunny day
he heard a little cry not to far away
he rode a little closer to see what it could be
it was a little shrew very sad was he.

the poor chap was stuck in the muddy clay
no matter how he tried he couldnt get away
hedgehog he was clever and new what to do
so  he dug the clay away from beneath the shrew.

little shrew was happy free from all the clay
he said goodbye to hedgehog and went along his way
hedgehog carried on riding on his bike
shrew he wont forget his little friend called spike.

there was a little wombat he lived in the wild
somewhere in australia a proper natures child
he would make big burrows that he made his home
where he would hide from dingos when they were on the roam
he would jump inside so he could get away
for the roaming dingo the wombat was his prey
he would live on grass eat shrubs and chew on bark
a happy little chap as happy as lark
such a lovely creature so beautiful is he
all cuddly and so furry a lovely site to see.

there was a little hamster he just love to spin
with his little wheel that he just climbed in
spinning round in circles pushing with his feet
he was very lovely and very very sweet
going round and round as fast as fast can be
looking through his cage looking straight at me
i watched him for while till the wheel had stopped
he was getting tired so in his bed he hopped
then fell fast asleep with his head still in a spin
in his little cage that was made of tin.

i saw my little cat in my christmas tree
taking of the baubles and bringing them to me
dropped them at my feet all placed upon the floor
then gently running back to go and get some more
he climbed up to the top and brought the fairy down
with her magic wand and a lovely golden gown
then he got the tinsel rolled and rolled around
in between the tinsel he was truly bound
he managed to escape undone it from his head
crawled in to the corner and jumped into his bed
his little game was over his eyes began to close
he curled in a ball  to have his little doze

snuggle up together on a winters night
with a glass of wine by the firelight
looking out the window at the falling snow
tucked up nice and warm with logs a glow

then a little romance for night of bliss
hold each other tightly as you begin to kiss
such a lovely way to spend a winters night
snuggled up together by the firelight

there was a little hedgehog adventure bound was he
and a mountain climber he just long to be
he took a trip to everest to see the mountain there
standing very tall  high up in the air.

he took along his tent  climbing ropes and all
up the big high moutain he began to crawl
using all his skill he began to climb
hedgehog took it slow he just took his time.

climbing up the face having lots of fun
he was really happy his adventure had begun
hedgehog he kept going till at the top was he
now he could be famous go down in history.

he had done the thing that he long to do
to be a moutaineer and be famous too.

there was a little budgie he just love to sing
he was very clever and could sing almost anything
he loved the karaoke down the local  bar
hoping maybe someday he could be a star
they held a competition so they could find the best
budgie made his entry to him it was a test
then he began to sing in his budgie voice
and won the competition he was the peoples choice
now he was a star his dream it had come
he sings all time just like budgies do

everyday we wake up to a brand new morn
rolling back the sheets then give a little new
a new day is upon us  another day to live
another day to love another day to give
the cockerel on the fence standing very proud
with his wake up call so very very loud
telling us rise and get up out of bed
time to face the day and what ever lies a head

there was a little badger a biker dood was he
wore a leather jacket and rode a big harley
he just love to tour around the countryside
each and every city tour nationwide

he to took a little trip for his biker fix
to the USA to ride the  66
a favorite route for bikers
where they get there kicks

he mounted on his harley and began his ride
riding down the highway he was full of pride
he rode to the end. his dream it had come true
down the 66 like all the bikers do.

there was a little mole he dug underground
looking for adventure the little mole was bound
he packed a little case  for his holiday
things that he might need while along the way.

mole he started digging  for three months and a day
till the ground got hard he had hit some clay
then one final push the little mole was through
in this place so lovely a place he never knew.

it was full of beauty  and  the sun was shining bright
the little mole was happy it filled him with delight
then he took a stroll in this adventure land
all along the beach playing in the sand.

he was having fun on his holiday
in the land he found so very far away.

the cheetah is  a lovely cat  a splendid cat indeed
not like all the other cats he has the faster speed
chasing after food impala or gazelle
with his turn of speed that he knows so well
hunting through the day sometimes early night
hidden in the grasslands hiding out of site
waiting for his prey so he can have his chase
jumps and pulls it down with his faster pace
then he begins to eat to fill is  appetite
then wonders of so gracefully
deep in to the night

theres  an hedgehog in my garden a funny little chap
underneath the shed he loves to take a nap
then when night time comes he is wide awake
a roam around my garden the little chap will take
up and down he goes all around the ground
looking for some food whatever can be found
digging in the soil for a bite to eat
turning up the soil with his little feet
looking for a worm to fill  his appetite
this lovely little chap a creature of the night

i wish i was a kestrel flying in the sky
with elegance and grace flying oh so high
the wind beneath my wings hovering so free
flying round the mountain tops with so much to see

with a life of freedom i would gently soar
just a life so free no worries anymore
living in a nest high up in a tree
happy and content the way that life should be

i was in the garden i heard bluebell ring
standing there alone a lonely little thing
ringing out his tune so gentle and so sweet
such  a pretty tune it made me tap my feet
a lovely melody like a symphony
standing in my garden he played his song for me

there was a little dolphin a clever chap was he

he lived in the ocean in the deep blue sea

he sad sonar sense to guide him on his way

to tell him to go so he wouldnt stray



oneday while out swimming he heard a little noise

coming from the side of a marker buoy

it was a little crab very sad was he

caught up in the buoy trying to break free



dolphin he was clever and knew what to do

the rope the crab was stuck in he began to chew

dophin chewed and chewed till the crab was free

he had been released back in to the sea



crab was very happy dolphin saved the day

he waved goodbye to dolphin as he swam away

dolphin he was glad the little crab was free

feeling very proud a hero now was he

the jaguar is a cat from the basin of brazil
just to see  this creature makes the time stand still
such a skillful hunter with  elegance and grace
a very skillful cat in this jungle place.

they hunt for there prey there variety is strong
animals and turtles whatever comes along
they will climb a tree like a little thrush
sitting there in wait setting there ambush.

they will quickly pounce with one almighty bite
thats how he kills his prey when the time is right
this creature from the amazon is such a lovely site
filled with so much grace and fills me with delight

if we have respect then we have our pride

there was a little ostrich a lovely little soul
who had a dream of dancing  with a dancing pole
sliding up and down to a music beat
then turn upside down and land back on her feet
flickering her lashes to  attract the crowd
then people they would clap so very very loud
then  when she got tired she would take a rest
then fall fast asleep in her ostrich nest
