Christmas wont be easy for the people of Ukraine
just a day of sorrow hearts with so much pain
living in the darkness no heating or no light
living in the cold as the frost begin to bite.

no presents there to open on a Christmas day
Christmas time for them now so far away
listening to the bombs dropping all around
living in the fear sheltered under ground

soldiers in the trenches  fighting with the foe
fighting for there freedom in the cold and snow
hoping in the end Ukraine will win the war
then Christmas  will return bringing peace once more

when i was just a boy a scout i long to be
living in the wild with a life thats free
camping in the woods learning to survive
learning all the things it takes to stay alive

making lots of friends who were just like me
members of the scouts they all long to be
helping all the people with a chore or two
doing all the things that the boy scouts do

sitting round the fire beneath the moon so bright
sing a song or two singing through the night
sleeping in a tent sleeping in the wild
beneath the stars above a mother natures child

remember all the soldiers on rememberance day
how they died in battle gave there lives away
fighting for our freedom  so we could be free
if not for the soldiers we would never be

put there lives in danger on the battle ground
cannons and the bombs dropping all around
living in the trenches in the wind and rain

so in santa claus children would  believe

the animals had a party in the local zoo

the queen she had a busy life from the age of 25
