the snowman came today knocking on my door
by the time i got there he had melted  the floor
scarf and hat were there lying in the snow
snowman now was water down the drain did flow

i will build another as tribute to that day    
use his scarf and hat that i have put away

when i had my daughter i had everything
happiness to me for ever she will bring
i will love her always more the she will know
always be there for her as i watch her grow

i will do my best to make her proud of me
best mum  in the world i will try to be
she is everything  i worship and adore
makes my life complete and worth living for

a poem for a special friend

the sun is out today finally shown its face
just a little visit to brighten up the place
temperature still cold but the weather bright
if only for a while a little sun delight

maybe its a sign for the year ahead
very little rain just lots of sun instead
it would so nice if it could be this way
then everyday this year be holiday

dont lose heart.  dont lose hope
your faith and trust will help you cope
belief will help to guide you through
most of all believe in you

take life as you as find it what  ever comes along
look it in the eye stand up and be strong
never give up  fighting dont think of giving in
if you believe in you your battle you win

here were are again another year once more
hoping it will be better than the one before
that there will  be good things. lying there ahead
that the year before.  now can be put to bed

start again a fresh make a change in you
make the year ahead  make your dreams come true
forget about the past that as been and gone
with the  year ahead make your life move on

it is resolution time.time to start a new
in the year ahead be  a different you
promises you make that will make a change
and the year ahead you can rearrange

you can make it happen it is up to you

life is like a roundabout round and round it goes
where it takes you to no ever knows
spinning round in circles spinning round each day
never knowing what life will bring your way

a  never ending roundabout that spins its life away
going round in circles  spinning every day
round and round it goes for each and everyone
