likes to go for walks me im just the same
always very loving  gentle as can be
she is my best friend she belongs to me

like running round the fields running wild and free
loves to chase her ball brings it back it me
always makes me smile when ever i feel down
makes me smile again takes away my frown

wouldnt be without her i take her everywhere
every place i go bonnie she is there
best friend in the world there could ever be
she is my everything means the world to me

darling i love you tho were so far apart
your always here with me here inside my heart

i look at the  pictures that  have of you
brings back the memories of things we used to do
when were together when our love was strong
then it turned around love we had  went wrong

when i close my eyes see you lying next to me
cuddled up together like it used to be

met a girl in memphis on a christmas night
snow was falling down pure and so white
walked in to a bar saw her sitting there
with her bright blue eyes long blonde flowing hair

she came and sat with me  we talked for a while
such a lovely face such a lovely smile
country band was playing a good ole country song
asked her for a dance we both danced along

put my arms around her squeezed and held her tight
dancing cheek to cheek we danced away the night
we danced all night long to  a country song
to the country  band we both danced along

lets have a merry christmas let the whole world sing
listen out for santa ding aling a ling
listen to the church bells  with there ring  ring ring
christmas time is here with lots of joy to bring

time for christmas parties with a drink or two
let the music play dance the whole night through
light the christmas tree hang the mistletoe
party time is here let your body go

dance the whole night through party all night long
dancing altogether to a christmas song
party party party with a drink or two
dance the night away till the early morning dew

when christmas comes along  brings back the memory
of the christmas night where you first  met me
when you stole a kiss beneath the mistletoe
took my  breath away gave my heart aglow

when we sat together in the fire glow
looking out the window at the falling snow
radio was playing our favourite song
we held each other tight as we danced along

we took  a little walk beneath the moon so bright
surrounded by the stars lighting up the night
holding hand in hand as we walked along
side  by side together we sang a christmas song

christmas is a time that makes the whole world smile
brings the world together if only for a while
time for peace on earth for the whole of all mankind
time to forgive leave the past behind

let the world unite sing a christmas song
all across the universe lets all sing along
all across the world sing it loud and clear
let the song be heard christmas time is here

moon was shining bright in memphis teneesee
