when i have my grandkids they warm the heart me
remind of my younger days how i used to be
make me feel so proud as i watch them grow
with there loving way that my heart aglow

alway make me smile whenever there aound
there my everything  where my happiness is found
i love them oh so much each day a little more
love them all the same thats what kids are for

love it when christmas love to watch them play
opening there presents on a christmas day
wouldnt be without them they mean the world to me
there always in my heart and will always be

saw you yesterday you were walking bye
you were hand in hand with your brand new guy
wishing it was me that was by your side
im still in love with you from it i cant hide

i feel so alone without you here with me
remebering the love  that there used to be
before it all went  we went seperate ways
all i have now is lonely nights and  days

a long time ago many miles away
a baby was born in a manger lay
three wise came to visit following a star
with gifts for the child they brought from a far

the baby was called jesus a messiah he would be
who became a saviour of humanity
people gathered round to listen to his speech
sermons to the people jesus he would teach

thats how christmas started many years ago
a child born in stable whos name the world would now
his name it will go on never fade away
a name we will remember every christmas day

happy times are near Christmas on its way
time for Santa Claus to load his Christmas sleigh
with a ** ** ** and  a sleigh bell ring
flying through the sky with a ding a ling a ling

taking all his presents to children christmas day
riding through the snow many miles away
with his reindeer  friends to guide him on his way
children listening  for the bells on his christmas sleigh

children all excited happy as can be
opening there presents beneath the christmas tree

when its christmas in the hills folk all gather round
they play christmas songs to the hillbilly sound
banjos and guitars and the fiddles  to
playing all night long till early morning dew

hand clapping knee slapping dancing to and fro
dancing  all night long in the christmas snow
dancing altogether to the the christmas beat
christmas time is here theres dancing there feet

dancing in a line dancing in a row
dancing altogether dancing to and fro
hand clappin knee slappin and a turn around
dancing all night long to the hillbilly sound

when christmas comes around gives my heart aglow
looking out the window at the falling snow
covering the roof tops pure and so white
gentle as can be on a christmas night

children having fun playing on there sleigh
happy and content knowing santa s on his way
with his christmas presents filled with lots of toys
on a christmas day for all the girls and boys

carol singers sing  in the falling snow
as we sing along to the songs we know
singing altogether in perfect harmony
bringing christmas joy for every you and me
