i know its been a year seems like yesterday
when you were here with me just a touch away
time it seems to fly you just dont realise
how quickly life goes bye how quickly it just flies

your still here with me in my memory

when you are a biker. a biker you will stay that way
its there in your blood thats were it will stay
they love to do longs rides for a charity
if money can be raised the bikers they will be

they all stick together with a bond so strong
to a world of bikers thats were they belong
they all do so much to help in anyway
when you are a biker a biker you will stay

when your feeling down a hug can mean so much
someones arms around you with a loving touch
makes you feel secure knowing someones there
there to comfort you showing that they care

you dont feel alone theres someone there for you
to hold you in there arms help to pull you through
with a loving hug to give security
alway there for you there hug will always be

8th of june was a special day
bikers came from miles away
to a town called barrow
where dave  myers used to stay

he became a star on his hairy biker show
with is best friend si who the whole world got know
entertaining people wth there cooking skill
with there sense of humour gave the show a thrill

everybody loved them for there pesonality
and there entainment they brougt to tv
then tragedy took dave he sadly passed away
now he entertains where the angels stay

si  arranged for bikers to make a special day
from london down to barrow where dave used to stay
they  all get together there were thousands there
bikers came to show respect from each and every where

they made barrow proud for the day they made
a memory for everyone that will never fade
so lets say a great big thankyou to si and all is crew
to lilli and to woody for the day they gave to

dave he would have watched from heaven up above
watched his celebration sending down his love
such a lovely man and a legend to
that we will remember for our whole life through

R I P. DAVE  we all love

when sadness comes along it breaks your heart in you
thats when you need a friend to tell your sadness to
someone who can help.  when your in despair
they can ease your mind just by being there

sit and listen to you and every word you say
give there love and care to help it go away
dont keep it  to yourself locked up in your mind
find someone to talk to friends are there to find

i sit here in tears remembering this day

lonlieness aint easy when you live alone
when some there beside you is all youve ever known
when you go to bed and theres an empty space
being all alone is something you cant face

company you knew now  no longer there

when theres no one there for love and company
