A slight breeze
Tall soft grass
Sun shining
Birds chirping
Soft noise of
Tall grass rustling
Close your eyes
Only to open them
And see darkness
Hear your bedroom
Fan turning.
It was a dream...
******.
We are God's arms
when we
HUG
and
ENCOURAGE

I love to be inspired by God
This is one way He
has gifted me.

I love people and I
show them that.

In this forsaken
This land of the taken
These memories shaken
Why have I awakened?

The time has come now
For you all to bow down
To the new leader now
Will this be allowed?

We hungry and lonely
The ****** and the lowly
Forced to worship the holy
The one and the only

This god who forbade us
Who made us and changed us

Is it just me
Who is dying to see
What it means to be free
To choose what to believe

Will someone explain
If in this new reign
Will life be the same
Can we even blame?

The ones who allowed it
Are those who endowed it
They saw it befit
To make us commit

Now to doubt is a crime
It’s no better with time
We must rely on these rhymes
To break the confines

So in these words I impart
The plagues of my heart
So you may take part
When this order falls apart...

Stop blaming the weather for why you've become so cold.
Were a glass
Of white wine
May yours always be

Half full

Once you’ve been to the breaking point
There’s a mark on your soul forever
A wound that deep doesn’t disappear
It’ll heal, but the scar will leave you never

I can still picture in my mind
The little pills piled in my hand
The knot in my stomach
Things going as planned

I remember the panic
When I swallowed those pills
Throwing them back up
Too scared to make the ****

Isn’t that human nature though
Survival drilled into our being
Even when you want it all to end
That ******* instinct keeps your heart beating

I look back on those days
And still feel the shame
Thinking those watchful eyes knew my secret
Stupid I know, but I felt it just the same

Can you imagine the desperation
To be at the end of your rope?
Then living with those actions forever
Struggling to recapture lost hope
Well can you?
