Won't go without you

I won't rest till I find you

Can't live without you

Weird.
Funny.
Stupid.
Crazy.
The words attached to you by other people.
And the saddest thing is that you believe them
And you lower yourself
And hate yourself
To entertain the masses.

Quiet.
Thoughtful.
Witty.
Loving.
That is who you are to me.
And as you rest your weary head
While we hide away from sight,
You whisper calm intellect
That make my thoughts just stop.

Awkward.
Cute.
Nervous.
Bubbly.
Some of what I feel
When I think of you.
And it's like a beautiful electricity
One that invigorates and illuminates my soul,
And in that moment I love you.

Uncomfortable.
Strained.
Jolting.
Cold.
It's not what we should be.
But while you hide away
My favourite facets of your glittering self,
That will be what you receive from me.
Your reflection.
Gatsby isn't referring to the character. It's the nickname I gave to someone very close to me.

This has little sense to it, I just needed to write out my muddled brain.
From where they stood
She was a juvenile who needed detention
From where I stand,
I see a lost child seeking attention
From what they heard,
Her words were harsh and threatening
From what I hear,
She didn’t mean for her words to harm, it was a clear case of misunderstanding
From where they looked,
They saw a girl who was overweight and wasn’t easy on the eye
From where I look,
I see beyond her flaws, a loving lady whose deepest feelings have been anesthetized with lies
They said to her,
You are a waste of space, you voice is too husky and you lack technique
I wish I could say to her,
No one else can give the world what you have to offer, your voice is different and your style is unique

Now she feels she doesn’t have anything to live for,
They had assassinated her mentally and she was going to help them physically
She had carefully planned how she would execute her suicide
She was headed for doom ‘cause her fate she let them decide
Helplessly I watch from outside.
Locked out and powerless to put a stop to this
I watched her put the rope around her neck as I screamed and implored her not to.
If only she could hear me, she might have had a chance to see through my eyes that life was hers to live and enjoy, that she had every right to be happy, that she could dare to be different and it was okay for her to dream big dreams even if they never materialized

Life for me is like a box, it can be seen from at least 6 different perspectives and no matter which we may be shoved to, we still have other perscpectives we can choose to see life from..

I feel so lost

lost in life
lost in translation
lost in love
lost in friends
lost in emotions
lost in sight

But then I remember that
when I took the road less traveled by
I am not simply lost,
but making a new path

Is depression

supposed to

be this

wildly crazy

and painful

and bland

and worth

the loss

of tears?

The beast awakens

The earth is shaken

Deep it dwells

More than a challenge is it to quell

Dark is his heart, like an endless well

Born out of hate

Dead and alive few can relate

Many years spent in this blackened state

As he rises from the depths

He wonders where to place his next step

A whole new place, a brand new face

His new life awaits

As a butterfly removes it's cocoon

It realizes its has wings, what is it to do?

Only option is to flap and fly

Reveal its true beauty and remove it's disguise

A 2nd, 2nd chance

The 3rd phase in this timeless dance

What happens next? Where does he go from here?

Which direction to go? Which way to steer?

Only thing he knows is anywhere is better than where he's been

left in the ocean with nowhere to swim

Running down an endless hallway as the lights grew dim

Time to bury the past and uncover the future

Forget all it was to be that creature

Leave all of the hate and the snarl

Remember what it was to just be Carl
