Morituri Te Salutant
Vox Silentii Nov 2014
Born in darkness;
    A strange beat resounding, in my chest;
    Red liquid burning, in my veins;
    Who am I?

    Who are you?
    A different face staring back;
    Visions of dark passing through the mind;
    Let the dead bury the dead;

    The day is turning into night;
    Darkened sky, blackens the sight;
    Wipe the dark ice from my face;
    Tighten the rope, I can't do it alone;

A Silhouette
Vox Silentii Nov 2014
Your shapes and curves;
   My heart burns;
   Oh my goddess what have you done.

   Colours of joy I see in the sky;
   In this happy forest I can free my mind;
   This happy forest is where I belong.

   I lay my soul into your hands;
   I trust you to keep it warm;
   Looking forward to the life to come.

   Thank you god for the darkness
    but the midnight sun
     does not seem that black anymore.

   On a cold and rainy day,
    you sit beside me;
   I'm so happy to be alive today.

   The air is so lovely tonight;
   For my eyes to be blessed by your sight;
   And moonlight reflecting of the ocean waves.

   I opened wide my door;
   Fading echoes of the black beast's roar;
   Glowing flower and the moon.

   Every day used to be a fight,
    against my own suicide;
   But now, a will to live - I have a reason why.

   I look over my shoulder to see,
    a sparkle, my goddess, ultimate divinity;
   In my heart you live and always,
    always will.

   Shattered echoes of yesterday;
   Wading across the tulip fields;
   Our future was not meant to be;

   I hear your voice, I hear you cry;
   Forever your candle burns hot;
    But the wind of my misery was too strong.

   A silent scene;

   The crowd surrounds the deep dark hole;
   The rain begins to fall;
   And I turn around with a pensive smile.

   You came to my grave,
    with fresh roses every day.
   But as time goes by;

   Withered roses on this grave of mine.
   Like forgotten notes,
    of a beautiful melody we are.

   Grey clouds cover the sky,
    in the misty morning's light.

A Mirage
Vox Silentii Nov 2014
Swiftly the silence is passing over the meadow,
as the decaying autumn leaves, playing a tune in echo;
Deep ravine of sorrow,
with a stream of crystal clear blue water of tomorrow.

I remember, it was in December;
I was alive and the fire walked by my side;
I close my eyes,
for the sweet days of delight.

All my life I've grown these roses of hate;
My darkened past uncovered, a ******* heart rate;
You gave me smiles to soothe my heart of stone,
caressed me until the dawn.

Come my beauty,
I can't see you but I know you're here;
A gentle breeze whispered in my ear;
You showed me life, forever leaving me your mark.

And in the day and in the night,
we're thousands of miles apart;
And what seemed so real before;
Deep within,the love I feel, your epitaph.

Truth no longer matters,
as my black soul it's dirge now sings.
Nature brought and now away it takes.

Under the dark clouds of May;
My darling, my love,
sometimes blood paints it all to black;

Flower of life, gone.
Now in a castle with walls as high as the black sky,
resting in a world no one can see;
Only for the angels and my sweet Dee;

Laying silent in a glade;
Laying silent in the shade;
The dark insists to be,
my companion of misery.

I'm here today to join the dark wave,
on this gloomy night;
I lay the rose upon her grave.

Light a candle in her memory,
for what once was,
and the dreams that shall never be.
Thank you very much for reading my poem :)

Neither Shape Nor Shadow
Vox Silentii Nov 2014
A pyre of lost dreams;
    End upon end,
     in the embers of a dying flame.
