you make my heart beat the way i always hate
obnoxious Jul 2015
Maybe we'd sit in the forest
Atop the fallen leaves of autumn,
Maybe it'd be cold
Who knows there could be snow,
Maybe I'd still stay,
Maybe I'd stay because you were like summer,
Maybe you made winter a little less harsh

Your love was temperamental
Your kiss was transient
obnoxious Mar 2015
You meant so much
had so much worth
but received so little

But he did nothing of notability
was a mere shadow of you
then won it all

And I swear I rooted for you
all the way through
I had no doubt you'd rise to the top
but when you didn't you let anger win you over
You pinned the blame on me
pierced my body with words like that of a dagger

I swear I love you
However I swear you're blind to it

in the distance the sun hasn't set yet, and a pink haze still stains the sky
in the distance, far far away, maybe we are together once more
obnoxious Apr 2015
I was head over heals for you
hot
you were unsure of things
fluid
you'd make me mad and I'd strike the match
and while throwing your arms around in rage
gasoline would spill
the match would drop
dead

I always craved you
the boy with dark eyes
the boy who towered over me
the boy who's chin rested atop my head
the boy who's finger always found their way to entangle mine
the boy I hadn't spoken to in a year
but when your name illuminated the screen of my phone
all the feelings of me longing for you
died out
you asked me to hang out and although a physical attraction was still there
I couldn't bring myself to warm up to again
For once your dark eyes didn't beg for me to say
I love you

golden rays flashing from the sun
coastal blue waves lap up onto me
i breathe in the scent of salty air mixed with coconut scented tanning oil
to my right i see you
you're summer's promise to me
your blonde overgrown hair just covers your ears
a pool of blue swims in you eyes
you look at mine
green leaves and just peaking do you see sun's golden rays
we wear tanned complexions
and bask in the presence of one another
you press your hands into the sand, warm on you skin & grainy to the touch
you lean over and kiss me tugging at my my hair
i feel a new wave of heat transpire over us two
before we knew it temperatures plummeted
I loved the heat, i hated that it always turns into a biting cold
