Susulat pa ba ako?
Naubos na ang laman ng puso
Nailahad na ang bawat laman nito
Ang sakit, ang kaba, maging ang saya ay naging pinta ng tinta

May hahahanapin pa nga ba?
Tila yata ang inspirasyon ko ay gasgas na.
Wala ng maidulot na saya
Ang pagbaybay ng ngalan mo'y pinagsawaan na

Pasensya na
Ngunit tila naubos na
ang lahat ng nadarama ay nabuhos na
sa pamamagitan ng tula

ang may akda ay naghahanap ng inspirasyon
saan pa nga ba lilingon
nakakapagod din pala
yung ikaw lagi ang inuuna

It's been a while since my last sight of you
You were doing good before I flew
Not literally, internally rather
I thought things will finally get better

Yes, I did became better
Healthier, stronger
I felt there's nothing I can't conquer
Just then I started to wonder

How have you been?
Have you become the same thing?
Did you went for your dream?
Or did you just stay the same?

Weeks pass by since that thought of you came to my mind
A beep from my phone froze my smile
I'm not sure what it says
But it's your name that displayed

A story that we already ended
Is once again renewed
Another chapter of another book
Same characters but changed outlook

Not so sure if this will bring up the past
Or things will come fast
This chapter started just as before
If the ending is the same, I don't want to go on

I love you, you love me
Is love enough, for you and for me?
Or is it too much to once again damage our feelings?
I'm not sure if it's right, but I already set you free

Without the expectation of you coming back

Once in a while take the chance
To laugh, to jump, to dance
Even in the bad days to come
Look for the happy moments to count
Make everything memorable
Even circumstances are unbearable
Bring out the crazy in you
Cause there's no better way to live life
The way you do
Keep smiling, keep hoping
Be courageous enough to extend your limits
Be kind to help others develop
Be gentle not to step on anyone
Keep the faith
Keep your lips curved up
In times you can no longer keep up
Rest
But don't stop
Stop overthinking negatively
Always hope for the positives
Remember this

Is striving hard for you
For a life to last
A life worth the tears
A journey to be treasured
I have not done much of these
In the passing of days

I think you have already known
I think of you alone
days passed by
I didn't know your about to fly
as you said goodbye
sweat won't stop running from my eye
those aren't tears of pain that I feel
but it's joy that I'm now free
all the worries that run around me
goes with you and I can see
the known emotion now fading
together as our distance is widening
it's time to write a new song
time to inspire a new poem
the written ones will stay
to remind me of a happy yesterday
everything will remain a memory
a souvenir of you and me
