Lift of the Body
The moon and sun fall every day,
not because they failed,
but because it is
Natural.
Rise again,
And walk on two feet in midday

The Puppeteer
Here I am again,
I try to say it all, I really do.
The Dutch word for relationships
means the same as 'something that happens to you'.
Clearly, it is a blatant lie.
Curse thee, my puppeteer!
But when I look up,
I see the strings strung tight
around fingertips of mine.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Don't look back to me like that at all.

Perpetual dawn
I feel like there is a summer
To come but yet long gone
But I trapped myself
In a perpetual dawn,
Expecting midday

Murder!
There is a body in the water
Its blueish cold and bare
It seaths, shrieks and screams but
In its lungs there is no air

There is a body in the water
Hands choked tight its neck
Can't speak, can't lift his head,
so now it only stares

There is a body in the water
And I threw it in there
I hated the way it talks, it walks,
It sees and breathes and speaks,
But most I hated the way it
loves and what it needs.

There is a body in the water
Someday it will come up again
That's when I fill my lungs with air.
And say to them: I am.
