Farah Taskin Nov 2021
I write
to fight
against
my intense
emptiness
Farah Taskin Nov 2021
Cold
also
bites
the thoughts
Invisible
dust
and visible
mist
The foggy
sun
doesn't sparkle any more
The soggy
moon
loses the shimmer
The freezing weather
The flora and fauna shiver
The flame
of love can't warm
me
It only
singes
the
heart
Farah Taskin Nov 2021
One day
The rare orchid flowers will bloom
There will be no gloom
There will be a whiff
of
the French perfume

Then
He'll love her like
a loving bridegroom.
I became
bored
so off
to the
Dog Park
with my cat

I say
don't worry
he won't bite

And a Shepherd
herded my call
Joe King

I feel alone inside
a stream of people
my presence
is merely
insignificant
my existence
doesn't
really
matter
I deeply
realize
the cruelty
of the reality
I feel a sudden dart of anguish
Farah Taskin Oct 2021
last
night
she lit
a candle
for someone special
it was flickering faintly
she cast
her eyes
to the sidereal mysteries
the starry fireworks
were spellbinding
