You are a Work of Art Chiseled from The Maker's Hand A unique combination Of Humanity and Spirit Formed in Flesh With a spirit. Of love Bestowed with gifts Only you can Share or keep If kept to Self The gift would Die And bare. No fruit It.is up to You Are you a Master's Piece
Running so fast past me In the park Did you see the Four ducks in the Glistening lake Or the.rabbit hiding In the grass What about the dead Grasshopper on the ground Did I feel.the runners high Or each fast beat of the heart What about feeling the breeze Against my face Or reddened cheeks Same park same day Each with a special Experience all Their own
I think of You and you and you Memories.we all Shared From days gone by You a friend from high school While you a friend From work You who betrayed me You who made Promises you Never kept You who I laughed With And cried with But now you Are gone And you Are gone And you Are gone Silver and gold Though our friendships Have rusted with time Our memories live On. Forever
You have your Dances and parties And friends Restaurants to Go to Where time Never ends Movies to Go to And hold Hands tight Then stop To kiss and Say goodnight You go where You dress up Or even dress down You paint the Town red or You might want Brown I don't need a party Or even a dance A movie to see Not even A glance Give me some. Paper a trash can Near by And a pen Filled with Ink before it Gets dry You take your World I'll take mine If we don't Agree I'll be just fine
I look at your Nail driven hands And feet Did they think you Would escape With whipped legs And back The crown You wore Not of diamonds But spikes Driven into your head Your face unrecognizable From welts and spit You hung with love So deep that It lasts for eternity Into your hands I commend my Spirit And may I do the same With your dying Love for me
Wrinkled and worn Cavities of tears long ago Withered from pain Yet softened from Memories gone by A tell-tale face With Nothing to hide And everything to see So old and painful With glimpses of A sorrowing past And yet high-lights Of once sunny days Makeup can't cover Rouge looks phoney Hold your head high And show your face
You said you wanted To set the world On fire But couldn't light The flame Wanted to a be a Gold medalist But couldn't a Record set Tried to be soldier A gun you could Not shoot As for a doctor You couldn't pass The test You.wanted to Leave your legacy Behind But couldn't fit Right in A pen you. Picked up With tears in Your eyes Writing what a Failure you'd been Then a poem Birthed forth And you read What you wrote A famous poet You then became Leaving your Legacy behind
A robe of many colors Kept you warm.when You were sick. You didn't have to tell.us But quietly put it on. Trying to hide the pain Trying to make us laugh When you hurt so bad. I liked when you wore your Jeans and.shirt Knowing you.felt well. Now you are gone And I wear your love In.my heart
