Thanks for the brilliant rainbow that you sent me last night
Bright and vibrant colors
You were saying Hello and the tears flowed in our car
You know I hate Fathers' Day
Will wish your son- in law and your grandsons - in law
You have two great great grandsons and great granddaughter now
Please watch over them with Mom
Along with all of us
Can't spoil or wish you a great day
You left us long ago but still broken hearted
Fifteen and twelve year old girls in our hearts and minds
Just know that we love you and miss you.
Saw the Zebra butterfly earlier.
Thanks for accompanying me on my walk
I am still Daddy's girl

He looks like many winter white or beige big dogs
Many nights that seemed like they would
never end he was there
Listening to.my sobs and watch the shaking
He comforted me
He is a toy but to me no dog is more endearing and loving
He is real in my eyes
My beloved is severely allergic
Even so called hypo allergenic dogs give him hives
Sad because he loves dogs
So Pups Doggy is loved and adored
Sometimes in the middle of the night he seems to turn into the real thing
In my eyes he is
Pups

Your importance has waned
Still important but not like it used to be
Sad to say just don't recognize you at all
Want every possible magic to surround you
My life is not defined by streaming services and people who refuse to seek help because they don't recognize the need
They might not know
Not a friend's job to tell anybody but be a support system if needed and called upon to do so
Like it is

The Past is a learning curve
Don't dwell in what was
Time to enjoy
What that is up to you but do it
Regrets are useless
No need to embellish
We have all been there
Sometimes with frierds and loved ones.
Sometimes on your own

How is the Universe?

You know I love you
What more can I say or do?
How vast is the Universe?
Stars twinkling in the sky
How many times does my heartbeat for you?
You know it's true
There is no limit to how far I'd go
All of this and more you know
When you are gone forever
The tears will never dry
How vast is the universe?
Stars twinkling in the sky
Listen to Jason Gould sing How deep is the ocean on Spotify
He is Barbara Streisand's son
Irving Berlin wrote How deep is the Ocean
Deep is the Ocean

Great collection of pens
Grows so much but in my home office now
Notebooks and paper of all kinds
By the night table
In my bag
At the ready
Words are usually floating in my head
All hours of the day
The microcassette he gifted me long ago still works
Tune out nonsense but engage the words
As an educator I know both sides
As a student the Creative writing award in High school
Two books written and something coming in a different genre
You are all in good company because we know and understand
Started at eight years of age and paper is still at the ready
