Bleed from many different colored pens
Older but not old

In the wee hours remembering yesterday and you
Even though you rejected me and my loving you was a one-way street
Remembering what was and what might have been if you let me in
The Love of my life came when I wasn't looking
It took two years to let you out of my heart

Remember but put it in its place

Something doesn"t resonate
Just doesn't ring true
You can't find paper or a pen
When it visits at strange times at ungodly hours of the night
Dare you say it or write it down
Yet,it lingers
Wont"t let you go
Try creating a new metaphor or simile
You want to remember yesterday but it just isn't anymore
It is a memory you cherish but look at in photo albums
Close them and visit every now and then
Like friendships that used to be closer but have changed too
Some will never come again
Every now and then
When the words won't come
