ALWAYS STRIVE TO BE
Always every day come what may
Strive to be happy inside outside too
Know your friends who are your friends
All sincerely deeply wish this for you

But live your life free of strife be proud
Always be open honest speak your mind
Those who are your friends will understand
Because they love you always you'll find

Be cheerful merry wear that smile always
Know you are admired for whom you are
And if any don't their problem not yours
Know that you were created to go far

Have yourself each day a beautiful day
Never be shy of anything in your day
Always walk that walk and talk that talk
Be all you can be in every single way

ANYONE WANT A CAMERA ..
OOPS  .. OH WELL ..

You walked out of the shower no towel
I dropped my camera on the floor
Click  click  click  click on it went
And then click a few times more

What do you think your doing she said
I told her I dropped my camera on the floor
As she bent  to pick it up just then and
It  clicked away a few more for sure

I took it off her and put it away in its sack
Good thing I have another one put away
Its an expensive piece of camers too
I'll remove that battery later come what may

A camera with a mind of its own I think
I said it might not work now anyway
As it got completely soaken wet for sure
I kicked it under the bed and there to stay

Grabbed a bottle of wine to save some time
I could hear it under there clicking still
My goodness if you buy a new camera mate
Make sure its not a lifelong battery and a will

THAT OLD PINE
A forest almost full of younger pines
And just up the way stood older tree
Had been there for such a longest time
And the pine cutters they just let it be

Taller stronger wider with endless cones
Had seen many a pine season come and go
Nature had given it the power to survive
The hottest days the rains and the snow

That forest area was called lone pine hill
If only this giant could ever in life talk
Many had chosen that area lone pine hill
Since they first met years ago to walk

Experience resistence patients knowing
It stood upon this hill of pines and grace
Many now with family they often went
And sat under its peaceful lone pine space

One could see it from mountain ever near
Over valley and across the forests near by
From a lookout that was simply miles away
As it kept company with cloud up in the sky

Generations were told of it being long ago
And it stood still proud and tall does today
Eagles nested in it every year to raise young
And every year they grew and flew away

There aren't a lot of dinkum Aussies left
They are as scarce as legs of mutton~
But there's a dinky die one still exists
His name is Terry Sutton~
I met him in my travels mate
A writer and poet too is he~
With his philosophies of rare extent
It all sounded so good to me~
He wonders round the world and country side
Just ask him where he lives~
Australia Mate .. he'll answer back
And I'll take there what gives~
He has an open eye and an open mind
Thats where contentment lies~
This beauty in impartial view
Is grace within his honest eyes~
How i admire him for his energy
And his conditioning of mind~
His acceptance of all natures gifts
And his outlook .. colour blind~

AUSSIE LINGO
Theres an original Aussie lingo
That out there one can hear~
Most of all when you are in the country
And places like that you love so dear~
RIPPA RITA , An aussie bush expression of rejoice~
When something really goes so well
And usually not by choice~
FAIR DINKUM means simply for real
Are you fair dinkum mate~
STRUTH another real Aussie expression
A bush word for something that you hate~
Just a few words of real Aussie lingo
You might hear now and again~
SEND HER DOWN HUGHY they'll cry
When they reall do need rain~
STONE THE CROWS you'll hear them yell
When something happens by surprise~
Often in the country
When they can't believe their eyes~
HOWZ ZAT a bloke will often call out
when he manages to do something better than right~
And very indeed proud of himself
Without trying to skite~
RIGHTIO dad will call out to mum
When she hollows don't forget to get the bread~
TOO FLAMEN RIGHT he'll say back to her
When she says well ... did ja get it ted~
YA GREAT GALLOOT is what they'll call you
When you do something really wrong~
So much original Aussie lingo
They should put it all within a song~
SHIELA'S are of course suingle women
Who often are as well called BIRDS~
All this fantastic Aussie terminology
How I miss all these words~
Ocker's are usually blokes in shorts and thongs
They call thongs Japanese riding boots~
CODJA'S are older blokes
Sometimes they call them COOT'S~
COCKIES are blokes that own properties
STRIKEN A BLOW is a term for work~
BLUDGERS are those that don't like do do it
And being lazy is to of course SHIRK~
All that age old aussie lingo
I miss it so I do~
Can't wait to say HOWZ YA GOEN MATE
And G DAY to a mate or two~
It's all got a sound of it's own
One gets used to it in life~
Like the LITTLE WOMEN and THE BETTER HALF
Is what they call a wife a wife~

( Was'nt game to use spell check lol )

I'd been driven awhile in rather rough style
Away out near the Indian ocean in land-
Near the main road with one heavy load
When I'd pulled off the road of stone and sand-
As to check the trailer and it's load at the time
I'd then bogged it deep into salt with a crust-
Did not take a long time to figure out fine
I had to get it back out or bust-
Talk about luck along came a truck
And he pulled me out with no fear-
He mentioned his thirst said for a beer he would burst
And in my back seat there was one large tin of beer-
I said you can have the lot as it's roasting hot
So he took it to his truck ever grand-
Got out a gallon tin with clear stuff there in
And then half buried the can in the sand-
My lip I then bit as the can he then lit
And then Boom the flames of light blue-
He then said try that and I'll eat my hat
It was as cold as the coldest beer true-
I never did find out what was in that tin
Till one day later I painted a hospital laboratory-
And talking to a woman washing test tubes
I said what are you using tell me-
It's methanol she replied and showed me with pride
Would a truck driver ever use this I said-
She said my father used it all of the time
But a long time ago he's now dead-
Used it to wash valves as he had a truck
And he used to cool his beer down as well-
After all of this time and many miles down the line
I learned of that drivers trick now I can tell-

AN AUSSIE SENSE OF HUMOR
An Aussie sense of humor
Very hard to understand
At times if you do not
Come from Australia land

Some times they simply say things
To give a warm feeling and a smile
Mostly a little cheeky at best too
But with love and all worth while

They flirt like cowboys in cowgirls
Be they often in life young and old
And they d never refuse a dance
And can be at times a little bold

But I guess they simply realize
That a long time we are dead
And they love to laugh and tell a joke
Or listen to a good one instead

Some things they say would shock at times
And how they all love test a smile
Just to be a little naughty I guess
But good friends all of the while

They'd go out of their way to help a soul
At any time of day that might be
They are funny on the surface
And treat all mostly as if family

A special kind of being Australians
Its always been the very same
They love life and they love all
And very seldom will they blame

A little too kind hearted are they
But thats the way that they all are
And they know a good sense of humor
Will often take you far

ALONE IN A CROWD
He had spent his entire life giving
And all of his life that's what he'd done ..
Seldom asking for anything for himself
He was after all his very own fathers son..

He traveled how he traveled widely ever so
Friends he made so many along the way..
He helped so many over time make ends meet did he
But what he had given seldom came back to stay..

He married a girl who'd known no other in life
She was all any man could ever ask for true..
But anything of making love in any real form
She very simply never had known or knew..

A rather fruitless marriage several ways to be
But he loved her endlessly and provided always..
Years went by and this never changed over time
A man gets lonely but never cheated in all his days..

She simply never knew of making love never wanted to
And he felt it wrong to have her change her at all..
So all the time he wore it bit the bullet as said
A good man never did wrong but he always stood tall..

He would have given anything to sit on a rock and talk
To one that both knew each other with respect as friends..
However he never spoke her language and never had met any
Who ever were real friends as honest conversation blends..

He felt one day he'd just fade away and blamed his karma
Would deliver some peace of mind in a way distant place..
His beautiful woman felt keeping a clean home and caring
Was all she needed to do to be a wife with her simple grace..

He as it was loved her dearly as ever since they had met
He gave all his money to her .. her family from day one..
Never had he known of making love as married couples do
Yet never told of this in time to any time gone or to come..

Many asked him how come you both have not had children
He still never said a single word and never put her down..
He was always outgoing friendly but had values integrity
They told stories they'd invented gossip wore a crown..

A highly educated man at best as well a writer an artist
An author a singer a songwriter learned things ever vast..
However a loving man in every way within with sincerity
Had always given his best finished what he started in past..

Nobody took time to really know him as he was deep within
Still he wishes he had one friend as a real friend in life..
With all the respect that goes with real sincere friendship
To sit with time and easy a little soul depth inner strife..

However he was kept as if in a prison re his taught values
Feeling maybe it was just in this life karma or his lot
A you have to be there to know kind of thing it all became
Mostly feeling even alone in a crowd as if an invisable plot

ALL MEMORIES TELL STORIES
Each and ever memory in its own form
Have their own true stories so to tell
They give on sight telapathic vibes
Of the experiences they lived so well

We see them every day around in life
And their stories we can as if hear
As they still live to tell us of a time
Their stories ever real and to them dear

Lessons we can all still learn from them
Of things in time gone by we never knew
All to be heard by souls that stop to listen
Of memories many stories ever real and true

Be so great at times to simply completely forget
Of somethings that haunt your very soul of a day
A song even a flower something somebody says
One wishes at times they's just go away

We all so often just walk past upon at a time
And do not stop to take in the stories then told
To listen to what these memories have all to say
Of away back then in their days of so old.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY
ANOTHER  BEAUTIFUL  DAY

Another beautiful day is upon its way
The Suns still hiding but soon out to play
A high bird just flew over in silent display
Last night handing  its resegnation to today

Roosters call breezes dancing a leaf in fall
Night going home  morning enters the hall
Trees appearing from shadows now so tall
Clouds slowly taking shape silent still the call

Another beautiful day again soon to appear
Again life it continues allowing sights dear
Nature awakes slowly whispering I'm here
Turning on its lights ridding night of its fear

Another beautiful day nature upon display
Sleeping flowers rise to greet it again their way
Clouds of  some color as pinks soon to play
All is once more proving another beautiful day

Everything that happens happens for a reason
Our very souls have had this be for reasons
Life is a class in the largest university of life
Beyond our very comrehention to be set free

Two such souls are pre planned to learn of more
Than our minds could ever understand in any way
When lessons need to be learned we cannot alone
And as one they learn together within this life today

We all are given choices  the secret is to help them be
In what our souls concider important to as one learn
And learn we do as souls feel that these two do true
As the candles of life continues as it will to burn

We are not born all knowing as  winds of  life blowing
We often need to go where angels fear to they say
And this after all is a class with lessons to call
And as we pass each and every one come what may

However its ever so respected as two souls are connected
For even moments of learning as well comes fear
And that often is fine as two souls travel in time
But both must agree thus the ridding fear ever dear

A soul at times cannot learn alone of somethings sublime
And needs one as well another within this class of life
Without any detection or any suspection even rejection
Two for reasons meant to learn as protection of strife

But the negative side is one of the two clutching pride
And causing the learning of a lesson so harder still
An important  learning as candles of life are still burning
As two such souls need to agree  to learn  such with will

LIFE CAN CHANGE SO SWIFTLY
Once all knew how to take their time
Without the rushing every day~
Once all had time to stop and think
Of late time how it slips away~
I hear them all the time I do~

People at top speed going somewhere
Jets away up in the sky~
Time now waits for nobody at all
Lives seems so many passing by~

Above those little lines of mist
Straight high and ever fine~
So many cross the planet every day
In the smallest amount of time~

Time is moving ahead so swiftly
And it's changing all the while~
Life it can be so different
Within the simple measure of a mile~

Once time seemed to move much slower
Well to me it seemed to do~
Of late many lives are changing every day
As if no such thing as spare time it's true~

Once one could plan so far ahead
If one could simply take ones time~
Once a mind could handle almost anything
To maybe do things better way more so fine~

So that better times they could call
Time it needs way more respect~
Lives could be better all round it's so
If we slowed down some I suspect~

But its not time its us to blame for this
Wealth greed business now one simply never knows~
How life will be in the shortest time
And of late that's how it goes~

I've learned all teachers of life taught me
I have always walked a strictest lin
Did all those who are my equals said to
And might I say did them better more so fine

But before my soul decided another lesson
To be born to free to be the captain of my soul
Way over time I researched few things sublime
And listenened to this very own soul of mine

Who gave any the right to instruct their way
Upon my soul since it became myself long ago
Its time I let go and its  time I flew to feelings new
Its time I listened to my souls experience to know

Time I undressed time I confessed its simplytime
That I took over inmy own souls fields of clover true
Well over time I ignored their oh so holy advice
Loved life more hell to heaven all things old and new

Time for a time I knew moments so fine ever sublime
Time I undressed confessed and by passed this mess
Well over time I loved more this soul of mine
And with a likwise thinker spent time and flew

I'VE NEVER BEEN AND AM NOT
I am not a follower
In any shape or form~
I chose not one religion
I wake to my own dawn~

There is but one reason upon this earth
This life is a school we learn untill we'er done~
And I follow my own sense of reality
Have done since I begun~

I am not a real good joiner
Not another sheep within a pen~
I practice all my own values
Have done since I don't know when~

I don't need their ten commandments
If you are a good soul you only need but one~
Simply always strive to be a good person
And the rest is from then done~

He never had or used fine churches
I learned sitting beneath a tree~
And treated all simply as if the same
Made common sense to me~

I knew from a glance where they had been
And what life they'd lived mostly as well~
I don't need lectures from my equals
One glance at most and I could tell~

My fathers values live within me
Dad proved it often there and then~
Said we were all come from the same place
We all have been before since time began~

Telethapy was once a thing I inherited
We all could use the longest time ago~
But because no one could tell a lie
Time soon changed that it's so~

I walk my own path and I insisted
That I walk it till my dying day~
Won't do anyone a bad turn
If they don't to course harm or go out of their way~

I can see and I know much of this life
That has not even today actually got a price~
One cannot buy it in a shop or steal it
Or keep it at home on ice~

Everyone has the gift that was given
But few they use it true~
For it's not worth anything to anyone in money
But it's worth the world and way more to you~

Time has diluted most things of value
Rewriting all that was ever said~
Hardly anything these days remain
As was written once then to be read~

Lost in mass opinions and as if bibles
Translations of the original scroll~
words do not mean what they once did
Not since the oldest days of old~

Theres oceans of deliberate confusion
Still fill our world even today~
And yet many still profess to know
That they alone they know the way~

Simplicity is my own personal view
So easy a child knows better still~
If children ran the world today
We'd have peace upon earth at will~

But I am not a follower
Or a joiner of any kind~
I walk to my own set of rules
My inner vision from within far from blind~

AND ITS TRUE .. BEEN THERE
They say you'v never lived at all
Till you are not afraid to die~
I have in the past been in this situation
And once looking back I could almost cry~

At that time it seems fear is exempt
It's not even upon your mind~
Placed for unknown reasons in a situation
you seem to leave all else but where you are behind~

Its an overwhelming feeling in its self
You are ******* mentally with responsibility~
Almost as if on a positive drug deeply within
You are faced with setting a situation free~

No chance at that time to think at all
Not placed in this being so by choice~
I never panic at the time but after I'm a mess
And go to pieces rather than to relax and rejoyce~

Looking back in memory at somethings I've experienced
Them I've never ever in life forgot~
Still have no idea at all thinking of back when
How come these things in life can be ones lot~

I am no way the hero type in life
Never seen myself that way at all~
But when a soul is placed in these situations
Something takes over for the thus then call~

I have not got a single clue to this day
One can be taken over for unknown reasons why~
But one during this does what one has to do
I know you've never lived till your not afraid to die~

All you can think of at this time at all
And I never ever wish to ever go back~
Is that you have no other option but to do
What you have been handed with a whack~

At times some see it as presence of mind
And before you know it .. its over and done~
You've got in there driven by as if the soul
And in disbelief been there done that you've won~

But looking back in all of acurate memory
And I still shiver some when I try~
I know you've never really lived at all
Till you are not afraid to die~

NOT ALL IS AS IT APPEARS
In this life of endless  allusions
Not all is as it doesappear~
We ever so often are fooled by what we see
Often don't see a problem till it gets too near~

Often the most beautiful fish in the ocean
Is sometimes ever so deadly and take a life that be~
The most beautiful woman , The most handsome man
Could well be your worst in life destiny~

The prettiest clouds often bring rain and snow
The loveliest flowers somethings can sting one so~
The most attractive looking car can have a bad motor
What's on the outside can't count you should know~

What counts is what is and lives deeply within
That is actually honestly what is that be~
Taking the trouble to learn to look deeper within
Is the only way to find real true reality~

Gold is ever so they say valuable they say
But it has to be dug for to find it there~
Values,love,character,kindness and integrity
Are not in life easy to find anywhere~

One has to learn to look deeply within
Strive to find the good of a soul deeply inside~
And with doing so one can also find a love
That once found you will treasure with such pride~

All these good things within are priceless
No amount of money can buy them ever it's true~
Learn to always look deeper within a soul
For the prizes are all waiting there for you~

You will save so many un needed stresses of life
You get your life more firmly upon life's longest track~
You well could know a love blessed by the stars above
And for you there could be no looking back~

But whats on the outside don't really count that much
As what counts is more so very deeper within~
If you learn to look deeper you road won't become steeper
And happiness and oeace of mind you could win~

AS BREEZES BLOW
AS BREEZES  BLOW

We live our lives like bees in hives
We do our best trying to work as one
While trying to as well ourselves to tell
Life at times seems all work little fun

The only one that needs to feel whats real
Is after all lifes reasons said and done
Is nobody other than you alone in learning
From birth through life till last of setting sun

Doing best to pass each and every lifelong test
Knowing after all its only you to look back
One gives ones self education via choices
Ending lifes happiness strife later up the track

Comes a time a rest a little wine a moment fine
To gather thoughts ans some peace of mind
To even be loved a little more with love sublime
And if possible to ones self be just a little kind

As its true time only exists on earth be old or new
And learning is all choices come what ever may
There is no race only your time to thus embrace
All things in moderation not all work or not all play

The greatest positive crust the only one you can trust
As they will never in life ever possible to lie to you
Is your own soul within your personal vibes to begin
And they alone will I find always see you through

WEVE BEEN IN A MESS BEFORE
Our planet has been in a mess before
With religion politics behind of war
Born during ww2 seen it all for sure
When powers that be opened that door

Australians were at korea many died
War is not the answer another egg fried
Then Vietnam was not our war in any way
When Johnson did as he did so many died

Now weve a hidden agenda lips sealed tight
Russia USA telling all they'll save plight
But in reality they have secret in their can
While convincing all everythings alright

But its all been before seen it years ago
Started happening finished over its so
Political ego's let loose to run a muck
Eve In the middle innocent souls die as we know

Weve been in a mess before lost all we adore
Endless children died families by the score
Money over population and way lots more
Empoyment as well so they tell us for sure

Those older than fifty remember so well
All younger they know stories others tell
But now this mess now how it rings a bell
Politicians always right religions tell of sin and hell

My feelings are just plant a tree a garden free
Allow the growth to grow and be
Adore the high mountais oceans and the dea
Weve been in a mess before all older will agree

With the planet being tuned into rubble
Endless families and little children dying
And natures already had enough by far
While a few play super hero earth is crying

I've ad a life age follows me like a shadow
But so many have not known happiness
Peace upon earth long just a dream seems
But few if could would not ever confess

Oxygen ample water and good healthy food
How many have simply never in life known
Away back when families had healthy gardens
And all things needed back then were grown

Playing I'm king of the castle now a few they do
But once  we always had some to give away
When color and the likes of it never mattered
But now seems its all gone and doers only pray

Its not myself I'm concerned about of late
Its a few on earth speaking as if being God its so
An entire planet for generations  knowing war
And all I can think to say is WHY I'm asking you

ADULTS ONLY OK ..
ADULTS ONLY  OK ..
Even Australian Cockatoos know better
than TRUMP ..
https://youtu.be/Xp73CjcO1Eg
I'D SAY ..

Any with half a brain can smell the rain
Many read the oceans and the sea
Endless only need to look out a window
And tell the weather on the way to be

Closed minds easier to handle in life
I smell the stench of whats on the way
Russia USA and Nth Korea plus a few
A plan to half earth population like play

Their smirks reveal their lips with seal
All should read notradamus thus too date
The earth has been destroyed 5 times now
The 6th on the way last bible book does state

Many unable to do anything best not to know
But even clouds tells whats in the wind its so
These powers that be just cannot see
When the times up they too like all will go

To go the mentally ill the aged and unemployed
Their list goes on and on and its no surprize
Thats why its easier to handle closed minds
As open minds they all have seeing eyes

However Karma is one thing I do believe in
And its not blind not in the slightest way
This lot never to win in theiry game of life
When it hits the fan they too lose end of day

Oh soul of all you have traveled so
Since a time of no need to explain..
Ever since the many forms of time
To gather knowing again still again..

You have sent your representatives
Over all of time upon earth that be..
To live a life each time of learning
As you travel on to divine eternity..

To every aspect of life on earth
From the time that time its self begun..
Endless lives you represented over time
As a web of knowing is being spun..

Your many beings as experience gather's
Each time within a life to seek to find..
As much as is possible each and every time
Filling yourself with knowing on to divine..

Your existence so above your beings awareness
Has so many of them believing that they know..
But you soul are above their very comprehension
As through all of a timeless eternity you go..

You soul are one soul belonging to an over self
As you pass all to that one all knowing soul above..
Knowing that the only entire way to move on at all
Can be no other but to experience all forms of love..

REAL TRUE FRIENDSHIP
I come from my own fathers values
I have tried to be every inch the man
The very true soul before days of old
In life every possible way that I can

He once said to me out of all things
That there are that exist in this life
You my son are one thing reliable
Forever from  heaven to hells strife

A real friend of yours can rely upon you
Be they married hurt you ignore you too
Turn their back later in time up the track
When they need a friend you'll be there true

And he was right be it day be it at night
Forever means to me forever its so true
Regardless of what forever means forever
A real friend can count on that life through

In a hundred yeears from happiness to tears
They can always say I got a real true friend
Does'nt matter where you are near or far
Friendship to me is to give forever not to lend

Simply that forever reliable as my farther said
Forever is forever in time priceless and divine
One true friend can engrave that on their heart
A real true friend to me forever in life and time

In this life with woes joys and strife
You cannot tell others how to live
Kept prisoner by your values in life
All one can do is best to give
Even if ones your wife in life
She's one thinking your another true
If she is none sexually loving and you are
All one can give is honesty through
Never been a cheater never lied
You've kept no secrets of how you feel
But she's one way your another way
As far as needing love for even moments real
Years of empty emotion and loving care
Although you love her for being who she chooses
You might be feeling somewhat finding life hard
An 80 .. 20 % marriage some wins some loses
Your friends think at times your hard
Any other man gone long ago by now so true
But you've never been a quitter at any time
And have always seen the hard times through
A good woman but stubborn as a rock wall
Thats just the way things are unblessed
But thats the way it is for you in life
Might be a greater test in life confessed
But lonely you feel so in life as is
Many think your fault is only yours
Always been a good man kind genouress
Theres walls but there is not any doors
All she has you gave her always did
Between a rock and a hard place are you
Someone up there want me on my knees
Wasting their time its true
You can't tell others how to live their life
Selfish I've never ever been
Only ever been a giver as best I can
Sadly my fault is how I'm seen

REAL TIME FRIENDS
We all know lots of people
People that weve met
Mostly within our travels
And even some we can't forget

There are friends and as well
A few that are more than family
As well as one or two that are who
Real time friends forever to be

I'm a guy who puts his money
Where his mouth is for these few
When we die we don't take it with us
Thats how I am and what I do

To give a gift brings joy and smiles
Expect nothing back its so
What goes around comes around
In different ways we should know

Most of my real true friends are trying
In different ways to make ends meet
And I simply adore them endlessly
I've been there wore the shoes on their feet

I love chances to help them as often as
Money is nothing but a tool in life
I do as I can because I'm able to
Help them some with normal daily strife

I don't expect anything in return true
Its a gift all I ask is appeciation
For them to know I'm a real time friend
Thats all there is in explanation

I don't want them shy or pass me by
I only need their friendship always
To have them know a real time friend
Will be there for them come what may

THE WORK SHOP
Oh sir you told me you'd show me your workshop
This is the bedroom if I'm right
Yes this is where I do my best work dear one
And I mostly do my work at night

Its here I get my best creations of perfection
Your willing to assist me at any time
Over there is where I do all my photography
Over there my desk to perfect words of rhyme

Over there not too far my relaxation bar
With large T V upon the wall up high
The bed's all of seven feet wide as you can see
With silk curtains to have a hard man sigh

Over there my art area for oils and waters too
To paint my master pieces when feeling good
And draws of interesting toys to use at will
For when a guest is feeling bold knock on wood

Lights that dim and change colorssuiting the mood
And a wine where the best is out of sight
Stheres s much to do in the work shop true
More still if a guest decides to stay the night

Theres a great big chest pieces of silk the best
That a guest well might decide to wear
A refridgerate full of chockolate andthings nice
And all things to have an angel swear

A largest shower to take advantage of anytime
Shelves of softestd beautiful towels to use
A work shop I call it for many reasons why
With a work shop like this nothing left to lose

FALLING LEAF
Oh falling leaf you dance tour way
Dressed in colors ever bright
To the symphony of natures own
Be it upon any day or night

But your dance is far from over
You have so much more to do
Endless friends they wait below
To finish  what leaves do its true

You might provide a home for some
Natures natural smaller little things
That depend on nature ever so truly
So enjoyment your dancing it brings

You could become a boat some to float
Upon ther way down stream
To go where they'd love to go some day
As nature as well often provides a dream

So when you fall and nature makes its call
Endless things how they take place
All because of your natural dance
And putting yet a smile upon a face

NOTHING CAN EVER COMPARE
Life has it pain and things hard to explain
It has its sunshine and it has its rain
But nothing in life can ever cpmpare
The feeling of being loved again again

Nobody tells the world of winds that blow
The shapes of clouds high above as we know
Of all the things that in life that worry us so
Being loved making love moments that glow

We slave our bodies pleasing others all the time
We live we work we pay all thats in life owing
But seldom we take moments that are ours alone
Memories golden loves seeds that need sowing

The world will never stop spinning at any time
Because one took a moment ever so very fine
To know the feelings that are in life divine
And took advantage of this moments mine

After our last days present themselves on show
We all tend to look back thinking I missed it so
Lived our lives according to rules others create
But nothing compares to chance we let go

Be the one captain of your own very soul
As many civilizations gone oldest days of old
They all knew never needed to be as such told
They loved how they loved gave all so bold

PRECIOUS STONES
Never could ' can't , never would
Put that much value into a stone~
They call them precious stones , gems and metals
With feeling they are as cold and dead as bone~
I'd rather give a lifetime of flowers
And my unconditional true love~
I'd rather always be there for a friend
As expected by my very heart~
I could never see the value in
A rock because its as old as time~
In no way I concider them to be
As valuable a love I know thats mine~
Even for the shortest while
To hold it close to me~
Way more precious than any rock
That could ever be ~
In every way and if ever every day
I"d spend loving her just that much more~
Not a single stone or rock or gem
Could replace a love that I adore~

THERE IS AN ANGEL
There just happens to be an angel
That I have given space in my heart
She I doubt has any idea at all
Why I've admired her from the start

But thats ok her sight just thrills me
Whenever she happens to be around
If she ever knew how I feel its true
Such magic she'd know I'll be bound

But thats life dispite woes and strife
I guess weve all been there once or twice
However if we ever had time mements divine
It would be rather very nice

Time and age has no real page
In the book of all that can ever be
But at least my heart enjoys the feast
Of dreams that might never know detiny

MY FAVORITE FLOWER

MY FAVORITE FLOWER

My favorite flowere in my garden
Has always been there to be seen
I had so many different colors
To myself ever so supreme

I was never one to ever lift bulbs
I left them to bulb up their way
Over forty different shades on view
Admired so by passers by each day

I dug them up when I first traveled
To many countries just so far away
And gave them to a dedicated gardener
Knowing they'd always be on display

But I miss my vast gardens of exotics
And traveled ever far and wide did I
Wishing I could do it all once more
At least long before I ever die

Live not your life to others rules
Your heart mind and soul will tell
Never lock out moments that thrill so
Your inner wisdom it rings that bell

Take adavantage of momements grand
Theres no rule you have to of them true
If within short times comes magic rhymes
They were made avalable for just you

Life has its lower woes that always play
And when a door opens to thrill your heart
Enjoy them keep them to yourself alone
Love them they'er yours all and every part

You were'nt placed on earth with its worth
To tell all with none in theirs to say
Live not your life to others rules
They'er made available for you each day

If You see a magic moment sent to you
To heart mind soul make it your own
When it does appear take it hold it near
Give it that moment all take it home

WHEN POETRY BEGAN
Away back when poetry began long ago
It was told read and written how they talk
Different accents of whom they were then
Of love war life most gone like wiping chalk

There was no academic come grammer then
The voice of the soul using its owner to tell
Of feelings situations life as seen upon the day
Often over a pint of *** where thus poets dwell

It was back then seductive destructive constructive
Imagination allowed to express its freedom when
And today in many a way they try likewise to play
But real once poetry never to be heard of ag'en

Many from souls dressed in rags luggagage in bags
Who within knew romance dispite the hardships true
How they'd entertain to many knowing of pain
And thus having them see one day hope was due

And so good to know how it once would thus flow
It healed and had many look further up the track
It was a powerful thing how their words would sing
Never quitting in any way or looking back

A person I knew to talk to
Alone one day from work we made our way
Just conversation can be wonderful its true
And reaching a lane out of the gentle rain
Twas the first time I held you

In total bliss twas then an unplanned kiss
And your lips added presure as mine did too
I felt as if we were one as that kiss brought sun
And the sky once more turned blue

As if to adore I wondered why not this before
As two souls now became way more to be
And as if birds now sang and bells they rang
I could as if here the gentle waves upon the sea

Close thus closer tighter thus tighter longer too
Conversation needs not words to express
And poetry needs not to be written down
As love grows in moments magic I confess

Not a soul to be seen in thus lovers lane supreme
Heart thumping insistance thus not to care
Twas at that very time in unwritten words of rhyme
My face buried in your beautull hair

Thats why they give tornado's female names
It can have you weak in the knees all night too
It can have you in bed and wet as can be instead
It can wear you out have your heart thump true

When you should know rest have you awake with zest
Feeling like you just ran up ten whole floors for fun
As if you've just known a storm by the coming dawn
And unable to walk by morning let alone to run

Have a thousand parts of you swim only one to win
As if you've just spent two days at the local gym
Muscles your like plastic legs feeling like elastic
Being able to run down to shop for milk are slim

Have you never be able to talk of Mable at the table
Others saying whats up you look a little sleepy
Wishing you were fitter feeling like a half dead critter
Hearing same again tonight  alright sound a little creepy

Ringing he boss at your work sayng sick as a ****
Don't think I'll be there today hope you understand
Back to bed this time sleep instead to resy your head
Not believing last night was what most call rather grand

Oh little boat ******* out on the water
To a big pile just out there a way~
How many things you'd do and see
As you float a little out upon the bay~
How your many stories never realized
As you alone simply float out there~
Bobbing up and down within the tide
Within the ocean breeze and salty air~
Many seagulls how they visit daily
Fishes shade and swim there under you~
Planes daily fly so highly over
As you rock back and forth within the blue~
Swimmers often swimming out and back
Resting upon you there for awhile~
Waves wash you so within the storms
Upon you the sunshine dries and smiles~
The rain it falls and cleans you so
Breezes turn you towards a different view~
Your motions portray the rock of ages
And so much you could speak of it is true~
Almost unnoticed noticed you go through every day
As day dies and night it falls~
Many stories you could tell
As favorite sea gull stop and calls~
Passing boats must smile at you
As they pass by within the foam~
******* to a big old pile you might well be
But out there you never are alone~

THE SILENCE IN THE OUTBACK
Mournful quires how they can sing
Away out upon the most deserted land~
Away out into the deserts vast
Silence hauntingly sings across the sand~
An endless landscape onward spreads
Where there's nobody to be found~
To be caught our here is to know fear
So burning hot the ground~
Silence sings its mournful song
Like a quire of sheer warning~
To stay too long is to die
And so the winds carry the quire of mourning~
The nights they are as cold as cold
The days hotter than one can bare~
Not a place to love with grace
To go one better had prepare~
No water to be found around
Only naturals survive~
And then with fright they appear at night
In order to live there and stay alive~
Not a place to be in a sandy sea
Most of all if your alone~
The desert plays games with ones mind
Having wish you'd stayed at home~
And all the while for every day, night and mile
The quire of silence sings~
From dawn all day to morning it sounds it's warning
As the hottest sun it stings~
The singing of the silence
Can send a man insane~
All in a short while and for every mile
To leave this place never to go again~
So many can tell of stories so well
Of very near not ever coming home~
No such thing as luck if out there your stuck
And left there to survive alone~
Best is to know of it and thus survive
Never allowing it your soul to thus own
As within it can a thousand spirits ride
Ignoring it can see you ever safely home

There was a little Irish lassie
That when she bent so low~
Her dress it would fall from the top
Just a little don't you know~
All the boys adored her
And would take her picking daisies in a row~
And she d bend over ta pick em
How their faces they would glow~
Well this little Irish lassie
And every boy in town~
Would be seen out along the way picking daisies
Till the Irish sun it wore a frown~
One day she bent ta pick em
And that was the end of that~
Now this little Irish lassies married
With fifteen children ,a dog n a cat~
Twas a wonderful experience
Ever so long ago~
When this little Irish lassie
Would bend ta pick daisies don't you know~

HOME MADE BREAD
MAKING  BREAD

The best bread to eat is yours
The bread you make at home
An oven a tray mix mix dough
At home on your very own

A few eggs flower raisins too
I add a handful of oats for grain
Throw in what you like it to be
Better fine day without any rain

Self raising flower maybe some yeast
Chopped bacon goes real well its true
Test with spike to see if cooked inside
Set it going have then a cupper or two

In the Aussie bush they call it a damper
You'll have bread  to last and it does too
Try it when its done hot with butter on
Better off making several or even a few

Goes well with a cup of hot tea refreshing
And cheaper than any store bought bread
If you like wax paper pan bottom no sticking

THINGS I USED TO DO
I loved my gardening but as well the oldies
Nothing much went to the tip filled it so
My favourite Bearded Iris loved them
But always the old Snap Dragons to grow

Buckets old boots wheel barrows too
Jonquils and Snow drops loved my roses
Fragrent always strong in masses where ever
At times annoy delicate and touchy noses

Merigols pretty and very useful where they
Buttercups loved them throwing then around
Handfulls of wildflower seeds I'd throw about
Digging in wet newspaper for worms in the ground

My garden my home outside  loved as much as any
Little nooks to sit and read think awhile under trees
Magnolia's port wine pink and white I loved ever so
Even upon a lovely springtime night and breeze

Anything no longer useful I filled it up with Azalias
Loved blosom on the fruit trees where ever I could
If I still lived in the Snowy Valley I'd still do these things
Planting mosses in any old piece of rotting wood

YOUR VOICE
YOUR  VOICE

We sat in a train next to next upon our way
And she said do you always talk the same
Most of what you say is poetry to my ears
The sun seems to shine yet looks like rain

Your voice deep and meaningful goes within
It's conversation but it feels like making love
Your words ****** me with it's sound true
Just conversation but your hand I'm your glove

I said looking at my news paper when we arrive
Would you like a coffee some place quiet to be
Oh yes I'd love to talk to you so much more
Your voice as if has a way and it has me feel free

I took her hand and it was ever so warm to hold
I could almost feel her caring heart then beat
Like as if she sensed my utmost sincerity real
I looked at the floor and there I saw beautiful feet

I knew it to be ever so true as it was to mef on view
She'd never been loved by a man of some maturity
And the sound of my voice it had her so as if rejoyce
Way younger than I but it bothered her not nor to me

She did her best to ignore the feeling in her chest
But she silently liked ever word that she'd heard
Myself it was just I being myself I cannot deny
More-so when talking to the most innocent bird

It was a very wonderful forfilling conversation
We had coffee more coffee her saying I've got time
And she said beBe really nice not thinking twice
Lets go somewhere and find a real good wine

So that we did and the time it soon it slid
Oh dear I'd better be heading on now home
I said your family will be worried I'd say
No she said I'm afraid that I just live alone

So I walked her there came soon night air
Invitation come in awhile saying with a smile
So that's what I'd done and we enjoyed talking
Next thing the dawn came over her garden mile

( Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it )

THE HEART OF A ROBIN
Sitting under a tree in my back yard
Suddenly the wind how it blew~
And in front of me fell a small nest
With in it a baby bird part light blue~
I picked it up gently
With baby still within~
Placed it up on a water tank
Protected by a bin~
Twenty minutes past by
And a Robin flew down
To the nest and the baby
And she flew around and around~
The next day I returned there
To where I sat under that tree~
And a Robin and her baby
Flew around and around me~
She sang to me for a good while
With her baby in tow~
Singing the sweetest of songs
Her baby now safe to let me know~
I thought she'd never leave there
As she stayed and she sung~
To me for saving her baby
Thanking me for deeds done~
A beautiful Robin
Gods creature so small~
How she demonstrated appreciation
How blessed I felt and all~
The heart of a Robin
The love for her own~
She came back to thank me
For saving her own~

THE FENCE WITHIN
When ever I had a problem
That to me did not make sense~
And I wanted to be away from it
In my mind I imagined a fence~
When I decided I wanted to put it behind me
I then climbed that fence in my mind~
And then the further I walked away from it
The further the problem and the fence was behind~
The further away from the problem and the fence was I
The more confident I then became
Then the more I had made up my mind
Never to return again~
I kept that fence handy in my mind
To separate things that were not best for me~
And it always remained there within my mind
To have myself from these things free ~

A NAKED WILDFLOWER
Strolling along the riverside alone
Getting my mind if possible together
Listening to the waters run in passing
Ever beautiful it was  the weather

Away from all and ever peaceful there
Appreciating the riversides natural sound
And wildflowers here and there they grew
In the riversides darkest topsoil ground

Then as if out of nowhere swam alone
A beautiful native wildflower ever so
She saw me looked awhile smiling
Came into shore naked as stars to glow

Sat near myself chatted some of life
Pointed to a bamboo hut not far away
Indicating to follow her walking slow
Her wet hair hung low upon that day

Well just goes to show along river slow
One can find the most beautiful wild flower
It took all day there to examine it careingly
And well into the night to the midnight hour

That perfect place to sit and think
Your very personal home away from home
To sit and write or paint or think
A place all of your own

It has not got to be miles away
It might be closer than very near
A place that you can share with those
You love so very very dear

Ive a little track just down the back
That finds its way right through our corn
And it is leading to our river not too far
The nicest time there is just after dawn

The sand is soft and the water clean
It flows faster sometimes after rain
Its a peaceful place real close to home
On the other side a mountain to climb again

The rivers wide and in places deep
The softest breezes down there blow
its a special place of Godly grace
A place I really like to go

Theres a boat for crossing to other side
Theres fish to catch down there any time
Or to just sit and think some and enjoy
A wonderful special place to rest ones mind

At the end of a little track down the back
It begins only five minutes from my home
Lead to by a little track just down the back
A special tranquil place all of my own .

BORN A POET
When I was sixteen I wrote poetry to voice
Feelings I had deeply within
Poetry the voice of the soul it used me well
And thus writing poetry then begin

Poetry is a powerful tool and voices life
It allows all trapped within out to hear
It is of love and of woe happiness and strife

It's often saved my life and others as well
It's songs and words dance in feelings many
Open minds hearts and soulsto know life
It's a balm to help one and all and any

ALL TRUE
Take away all the dreams .. the games
The hurts and joys of yesterday~
The ways you d like it all to be
The believing in the prayers you pray~
Take away the emotions many
That guide us all the time~
The need to be needed so
And to have things oh so fine~
All the little things we depend upon
And the things we think we do~
And you end up with someone
Who can still make it through~
Seems a little far fetched but
There's always another way to open a gate~
And to look at life yet another way
And give yourself a brand new slate~
Then you give it all that you have to give
With what you have left its true~
This time giving it your heart and soul
And you ll get there and never more be blue~
