I go where maps dissolve
where thought forgets,
and silence flowers.
Time unrobes,
faiths fold inward.
Stars blink, then vanish.
The soul (if soul)
sleeps deeper than dream
a whisper in the wound.
Truth hums beneath the skin:
a kiss, a cry,
a flame unnamed.
Don’t chase the answer.
Be the breath
between the question.

When I force frozen
meat apart before
it’s had time to thaw
it injures and tears
where the ice clings
too tightly.
  The meat no longer
whole, scatters into
broken bones and
bleeding fragments.
  Your absence undoes
me like this not all at
once, but with a quiet
rip, where we once
held each other too
close to separate
  without breaking.
There never was any love,
only your imagination
that created it.

You built walls of suspicion,
turned friend into foe,
for a love that never was.

Your own doubts
have made your heart fragile,
turned you bitter.

nivek
snoring through the wee hours
a song of the nasal passages

I had never heard before
- I left the phone on record.
Before you, I was high spirited,
carefree and somewhat careless.

You entered into my heart,
as I left it guardless.

The words you spoke,
left me speechless.

Your kindness,
made me selfless.

Your love,
made me breathless.

My love for you
was flawless.

Yet, one day you left me,
leaving me clueless.

Your departure,
left me helpless.

My every attempt to forget you,
turned out to be useless.

The voice in my heart keeps asking,
how can a person be so heartless?

Don't you know?
Can't you tell?
Without you, I am lifeless.

Knowing little
  doesn't impede:
  know how to intuit

knowing too much
tends to confuse
and mislead

that which is too full
leaves no extra room to keep
