It's case drenched with salty tears,
Punched again and again when in frustration,
Hugged tightly in my arms or between my knees for solace,
Smooched with lipstick,
And used as tissue wipe for runny nose .
Poor thing it also acts my holder,
My secrets forever,
And little things I want to hide from my siblings which they want and I am adamant  not to give,
Then it becomes a sit on,
When the situation becomes tense then it has to fight with their pillows.
Fare,wear and tear,
It has become out of shape,
But it is my heart,
And I can't part with my heart.

Not from the pain of the heart,
But of thank God sigh that my boyfriend had left me,

I am so used to being in pain all my life,
That now I have a fondness for it,

I am a ripe mellowed fruit,
Almost ready to be picked,
And back to the soil.
Money to me is secondary,
My wants are now few,
Only my needs,
A little for charity, people in need
And for my family on festivals.
I have no expectations,
Even from my children,
Cause having seen many seasons,
I know expectations lead to bitterness.
I have stopped arguing,
I just nod to everything,
Then to do or not to do I leave the decision on myself,
Though sometimes they call me stubborn,
I smile, greet and compliment everyone I meet,
From a toddler to a villain,
After all a smile costs nothing,
In return most return the greetings,
Indulging and pampering an old lady.
I have stopped worrying and stressing about other people's responsibilities
My shoulders are too weak to carry them,
Everyone onto his own,
No frustrations, only sublime peace.
Lastly I don't haggle with vendors over prices,
Give big tips to waiters and delivery boys,
A smile on their tired faces makes my day.
Now, I enjoy several cups of tea reading a newspaper or talking with friends,
Dozing while watching T.V,
Or having fun time with my grand children,
I have learned to retire from the fast track life.

My husband's alarm rings sharp
at  5:00 am every
Monday,
Tuesday,
Wednesday,
Thursday,
Friday,
Saturday and
Sunday.
He wakes up for his yoga sessions,
I snooze on,
At 8:00 am he wakes me up with a cup of hot spicy tea.
I snooze and not lose.

Is its vocabulary.
Nature is the best  teacher,
