I believe in You,
I have Faith in You,
I prayed for you to heal my legs like a hermit.
But when I went for a short call I fell,
As if the whole thing was set up,
It was like deja vu.
I fell near the bathroom door,
I dragged out to the bed a few steps away,
I grazed my stitches,bled half a teaspoon,
Luckily my blood dries easily.
I have my senses intact,
My phone is nearby which mostly is anywhere in the house,
I phone my neighbours,
They were at home,
They helped me with everything,
I was not worst off.
The thing is were the Jinns working  against to make me disbelieve in You,
That My Lord I will never stoop to,
I have complete Faith in You,
I thank You,
I think You changed it into a small  mishap.

I sat on the window seat,
Deep in my thoughts,
A magic book in my hand.
A beautiful butterfly settled on the book fluttering its colourful wings,
The pages rifled by the wind blowing from outside,
Fluttered and flapped.
Suddenly the magic book went flying in the air,
Spinning and whirring,
Soon my note books and few text books followed suit,
All called out in chorus,"Ask and we will answer."
All my assignments  were completed in a jiffy,
I had finished revising  for my tests for tomorrow when mum called out," What is all that noise from your room, John?"
Abruptly all the books landed on my bed.
This is cool,
If this happens everyday, school is going to be a piece of cake.

My neighbours and I are just like one family,
They are always there for me,
I help the little boy in reading and lessons in the afternoon.
One day he put his pencil down,
Just looked at me with tears in his eyes,
I was concerned,
I asked him what was worrying him,
He asked me, "You have no Dad or mum?"
"No children?" Nobody  there for you at night? You sleep alone.Aren't you afraid?"
I was amazed at his concern.
Tears came to my eyes.
A small child with so much feelings for an old lady,
I assured him God looked after me,
I have the photo of my mum and dad on my bedside,
And he and his family were there for me too.

They came,
They mutated,
Antigenic shift from birds and animals to humans
By droplets, air, touching surfaces and *****- oral route.
They were the greatest warriors causing pandemic and endemic on Earth
The likes of  The Plague, Black Death,Spanish Flu  Swine Flu,
Mers-CoV, SARS ,  and Ebola,
Like the measles all stayed and never went away,
They  love their Hosts; the Humans,
A unique being in existence,
Apart from all life on Earth.
They love their complex languages,
Chatter, Chatter Chatter,
All day long- musical,
The delicious food they have,
So many varieties,
Especially the Asians,
They eat everything even wild animals,
Their thoughts  and abilities!
***!
Lastly their emotions,
Colourful like sunrise and sunset.
Who would want to leave such beautiful warm hosts,
It is awesome inside the Humans,
Especially when they are unhygienic,
Not to forget smoking and drinking.
The viruses  becomes hyper and contagious,
Causing sickness and deaths,
Until man learned to control them by finding vaccinations.
All was well,
Man went on with his life becoming arrogant,
He abused Nature that gave him life,
So the warriors invited Covid-19
to come,
Each one donating one of their strains to Covid.
It is strong like Godzilla,
Powerful and spreads fast like Superman,
It is chaotic affecting the respiratory tract, the kidneys,brain, heart and digestive tract too.
It loves the old, the sick, the obese and the unhygienic,
It pounces on humans as easy game.
It has lockedown and quarantined Man
It has destroyed the economy,
And shaken the Governments.
By caging humans it has given new life to nature,
It is a special agent sent to make humans realize their mistakes,
Before finding a vaccination I hope man wakes up.
Health is more important than nuclear weapons or space search.

Having said his prayers Salman
went to see his friend who was very sick,
His friend's wife opened the door,
"Thank God you have come,he's been asking for you since morning."
He went into the room where his friend lay.
His friend looked at him with tears in his eyes,
"Thank Goodness you came,
I have been waiting for you since morning,
My pain is unbearable ,
The Angel of Death is waiting in a corner,
He has come to take us both."
I looked at the Angel of Death pleading,
"Please give me time to say goodbye to my family  and straighten all my affairs "
"I am sorry but the time and place of your death is here and now,"said the Angel of Death.
With that the Angel of Death put his cloak around both friends.
After sometime when the wife entered with some coffee she found both friends dead holding each others hand.
Rest In Peace.

God gives everthing for a reason,
My friend never wanted a girl child but he got one,
The other two were boys and he was delighted.
He showered all his love and money on them,
Sending them to private schools,
Paying little attention to the girl.
Time passed,
All the children got married,
Daughters-in-law came,
The boys were in highly paid jobs,
So my friend took retirement.
Now my friend's eyes opened,
The wives found the old man a thorn in their way of life,
Both sons moved out living my friend alone,
His daughter visited him everyday seeing to his needs,
And when he became sick she was at his bedside day and night,
He saw how much his daughter loved and cared for him.
He must have done something good in life to be blessed with a daughter.
A daughter is yours for life,
A son is yours till he gets married.

God created Adam,
And then HE created Eve,
Both sinned and were thrown down to Earth,
Out of their progenies the world grew.
God sent many prophets to make men tread on HIS path and believe in HIM.
Obstinate man didn't listen,
Father fought with son,
Siblings fought with siblings,
Different religions sprouted with different beliefs and different Gods,
Man became bold,egoist and self centred,
From a cave man, an intelligent man to a technology man,
His ego grows,
He now thinks of himself as God,
He wants to conquer the Universe.
Enough is enough!
God sent warnings many times,
Calamities, famine,the plague,
Ebola and Aids etc,
But man finds his way out.
So God sent something lethal,
A super virus with all the strains of other viruses,
Covid 19 dangerously contagious,
Spreads easily and widely,
Enters cells quickly,
Damaging the lungs, heart and kidneys,
A virus that has man shuttered,
An economy in tatters,
Will obstinate man heed now,
Or find his way out.
