It's a name my mum lovingly called me,
Everytime I have to swipe my phone,

The outcome is I miss my mother,

Behold its beauty in your heart,
Listen in silence.
The rustling leaves dance to the tune,
The birds join the symphony,
Singing their songs,
Giving hope to the silent woods.
Take a walk and find pleasure in the path less wood
Rabbits tracks leading to everywhere,
Crackling of dry leaves beneath your feet,
Tall trees whispering;a story to tell,
Follow a grumbling,rumbling river,
Running past rocks, leaves and twigs,
And find grace as it cascades into a waterfall.
Climb a mountain and get its good tidings
Nature's peace will flow into you,
Its peak hidden in clouds and mist,
Enjoy the air,
Behold the view.
And if want sit calmly beside a lake,
Fishing or reflecting,
Find the surrounding beauty in its reflection.
Not to forget to smell the sea,
And hear the music in its roar,
The crashing waves that kiss the shoreline again and again.
Lastly feel the sky,
Romanticize with the moon,
Waltz with the stars,
Let your spirits fly,
For there is beauty in nature everywhere.

The shadow is sure to follow you,
It can be behind,
It can be in front,
And under you.
A shadow is your silent friend,
It mimics me and us
It can crawl, walk or run,
And makes different shapes on the walls with your hands and fingers.
The brighter the light,
Darker your shadow,
And quietly disappear in shady spots.
Shadows are fun,
Children are intrigued  by them.

Was not back to books,
Or be a hero in the year book,
Far was the idea to pass the S.A.T. Test,
Though they taught the best.
For me school was to have fun with friends,
Set new trends,
Bunk classes,
Romance under the trees,
Be a cool guy,
But, never a bully.
Who was to tell,
If I didn't do that well,
My parents in their lives were busy as a bee,
They never could see,
More than their dime,
I needed their time.
After all who needs school,

Though you have grown,
You are still my little ones.
How much it meant to me
When you were my baby,
To hold you in my arms tightly,
While you shrieked delightfully,
Smothering me with your sloppy kisses.
I still remember many hours we spent together,
Leaving my work for later
Watching cartoons,
Blowing bubbles or balloons,
Seeing you play,
Or when you came back from school everyday,
And shared with me what you did,
Made me listen if I did not heed,
I felt blessed.
After bedtime stories,
And goodnight kisses,
Whilst you slept,
Tears of joy I wept
As I touched your angelic face,
My heart skipped from its place,
You would break into a grin with sleepy eyes,
My soul was at peace.
Yes, my brood,
I miss those yesterday's childhood,
Every lovely moments,
I had spent with you was with content.
Now that we are far apart,
My only regret,
Is sharing the same precious moments I did with my little ones,
With my grandchildren.
