Salmabanu Hatim Oct 2023
May be dead,
But she lives in my memory everyday,
That was how much I loved her.

Can rent
Childhood,
Youth,
Health,
Old age would be perfect.

The mind a deep reservoir
Challenged or otherwise
Challenges it meets

Bridging the gaps
Bracing and braving
The gaping holes

Instinctively and intuitively designed
It knows what it needs
And learns to believe
The dotted line

Tears trickled down her smudged face,
Her dress tattered,
No shoes on her bruised feet,
Clutching tightly the Quran to her chest.
Through my lens,
I heard silences deep within her soul,
More than her screams,
I saw fearful eyes revealing more than her words could,
Many like her helpless,
Unable to do anything,
As thousands all over the world pray for them every second.

played peekaboo peekaboo

No time to rest,
Rest,

Your body will do it for you,
With cost.😄🤣
