Of autumn
there is not much to say
brown leaves fall
in healthy decay
white leaks on heads I say
embrace the old
salute the fall
rake the rust
dress for frost
and prepare the coals.

I am at a stagnant stage,
Nothing seems to go right for me,
People I loved and cared about are deceased,
In relationship I have always ended up being treated unjustly,
They say everything comes to an end,
But my life has been like this for years,
Perhaps that is my Karma.

Want to find heaven on Earth,
Visit the shrine of Imam Hussein.

Taking utmost care of it,
You must protect your soul,
Don't blemish it,
For your soul will return to your creator,
While your body will be carcass buried in the soil.

We speak our mother tongue at home which is Gujrati,
My children went to school which was an English speaking medium,
So it was important they could write and speak English fluently,
So even at home I would insist they speak in English,
Now my children are married,
And have settled in England,
Afraid my grandchildren would forget their mother tongue,
I insist they speak Gujrati at home,
However, there is one consolation,
Religion lessons they attend are taught in our language.
