She neither hides the scent of her innocence,
Nor the colour of her pure soul.
Being with her you feel at peace,
I think the Divine has showered all his blessings on her.

He would always wear my ring- giving me his full attention;
he would lay there- with me,
he listened to the music.
He listened to our songs.

And she carries my pouch, the one I made for her coins.
She carries my artwork- a piece of my mind, my imagination- one of which that even escapes my own memory-
I know she carried it,
Wherever she went.

And with a silent , namelless love, He uses my bookmark.
The one I made for him.
  I know, at every ending,
to every story-
It's there.  

A simple ring, a coin purse, a bookmark;
like the unity of a song we all listen to at once-
we're pushed together, bound by memory,
and immortalized in such fleeting feelings.
  
Isn't It Strange? That within these three mundane objects
I take solice.

There are many obstacles,
So it's okay to soak your heart with tears

Before T.V. mobiles and computers,
And sometimes no electricity,
After a day's hard work people retired early,
Bonded more,
The outcome was large families,
My grandparents had twenty one sons.
I grew up in one such extended family.
A large loving caring close knit family,
When everything is a havoc in my life,
My family is there for me without flinching.
We never had the need of outside friends,
Together us cousins went on picnics and swimming
Played in alleys marbles, cricket,
Climbed trees,
Went to each other's house,
Argued, fought ,
And even stopped talking to each other at times,
But in the end family is family.
Till today though we are distant apart,
When we meet the close bond is still there,
That also extends to third generation cousins.

By giving them your time, care and love,
