to a summer of metamorphosis you feasted my soul
and in copious embraces melted my icy roots
withered the nectar of warm tender kisses
the bitter grip of my white winter’s solitude
to call of seasons you uncaged my spirit
joyful flights into spring skies I made
parched soil of mine regaled thick grey clouds
monsoon rains I drank from the cup of my palms
on net of fragrance of flowers that laced my way
sprouted verses from kernels of my dormant seeds
petals of rose, lilies, jasmine and chrysanthemum,
the parchments where I etched lines of my poetry
stagnant waters had moved past cold mute stones
with luminous force of lightening in a dark sky
breaking boulders of obstacles gushed a stream
with solutes of emotions and ecstasy
