Poetic T
I am celestial, my mind is
Like that of a galaxy where
Thoughts spread out.

Each a burning star a thought,
Burning bright around it.
Gases of what could be, but
Not formed to that which it
Should become.

My thoughts are vast, some are
Solid, that are a part but not a
Whole. A burning thought that
Burns bright in this galaxy of
Thought, that is my mind.

I swim
through the ocean
of my own consequence
one I've  forged
with my own neurons and
feeble synapses.

I traverse
this plane
existing as I do by
the seat of
my own trouser legs
frayed edges show
only in the closest
of light.

I float
Backwards in my own
consciouness, my
existance a waking
moving riddle
my own eyes,
the eggs
on the skillet of
this reality.

this constant
cosmic breakfast is
a mystery to me...

Around the Earth
she sings
a silent twirl

Parting curtains
hinged
with diamond stars

On endless stage
adorned with
grace

Spinning
silver threads
into the sky

The moon
she pirouettes
upon the night

a girl with black bags
underneath her eyes

hair that had
split ends on every
piece you looked at,

and she might have
gone a little awry,

but that wasn't what
her love looked at;

he looked at her mind
because it was so extraordinary;

*her mind was a galaxy,
waiting to be explored
Carrying the small coffins silently
They walk among the white monuments
Small boys stuffed into awkward suits
Snot smeared on the insides of their pockets
Little girls kicking dust into their white socks
They walk on and on
Through the bone maze
there is no cross for a boy and his songbird
the world is cluttered with remnants
marble memories not unlike
the marbles the boys have hidden in their trousers for later
Forgive me father for I have sinned
The bruises he left are more than skin deep
He bruised my lips
He bruised my breast
He ****** the blood to the surface
Of my neck
But he bruised my soul
I reek with sin
Father will you heal me then?
5 hail Mary's and God forgives
I won't forgive myself
I won't forget our sin

Galaxy

You're like the sun:
The center of my universe
But better seen
From far away.

I'm like the moon:
Orbiting around you,
Coming closer as the
Day fades away.

Your galaxy of options
Leaves little to be desired.
The spark that once shown so bright
Is now a dying sun.

I'm stuck in this space.
No place to take refuge.
Dodging all the fiery flares
You spew at me in fury.

We collide with each other,
Send fragments of our selves
In the abyss,
Never to be seen again.

Except maybe a piece
Now turned to precious gold,
Someone far away finds hidden,
And holds onto for a lifetime.
Another collab with Mike Hauser. How we have such good chemistry when we have little in common is a good question.

I Don't Care
Sometimes she hid in a book,
Or swam in the melodies of her favorite songs.
Sometimes she shelted her feelings behind walls,
And ran between the stars.

But all stories end,
And she'd drown in the music.
So when the façade tumbled down,
Her run became a sprint.
