The Jolteon Mar 2015
Walking over the homeless
Like everything's fine
Like they're just a part of the landscape
Like a crack in the asphalt
Running over our minds
With useless thoughts of grandeur
Everyone wants to be the best
Not seeing their brother and sister on the street
The Jolteon Feb 2015
There's food in the store
Doctors in the hospital
Vacant rooms in the buildings
So what's with the manufacturing
Of worry, desperation, and poverty??
The Jolteon Feb 2015
Sadly this dude
Stumbled down the street
I lost a lover and a friend
What he said to me
Not one in the same
Just one of each
The Jolteon Feb 2015
If given the power
What would you do with it
Hold it close
Reign it over those around you
Abuse to your advantage
Or would you give it up
Cash out and disperse
Spread it out

Do you desire power
To hoard it
Or give it up
The Jolteon Feb 2015
What's the point of these shoes
When you won't run the track
I signed up for the marathon
But I doubt I'll be back
The Jolteon Feb 2015
I took her
To a special spot
So we could share
In each other's embrace
Some place private
Away from the clubs
Noise and havoc
The Jolteon Feb 2015
Happy New Year
Red red
Everything
