The Jolteon Jan 2015
The soul bird city sleeps
While my dawn dust eyes peek
Cracking open as my window
Light flooding out of my eyes
Dream-scaped colors illuminate
The Jolteon Jan 2015
I guess time is never wasted
I hope
Regretted days
Days wasted away
Even if a whole life felt wasted
The time mattered
It was important
It couldn't of happened any other way
It ripples further than us
The Jolteon Jan 2015
Globally
The 80 richest people
Have as much wealth as 50% of the human population (3.5 billion)

What is the resolution
For 2015
Economic inequality
Is raging the world over
Let our speak of peace
Resonate with reality
Attach it to the peace of mind
Of economic security
What ever happened
To the war on poverty in the USA?
Replaced with a phony war on Drugs and now Terrorism
Black Panthers were militantly against poverty
The FBI stated the greatest threat from the Panthers
Was not the guns
Was not violence
It was the Free Children's Breakfast Program started in Oakland
Where they fed hungry poor kids
Now tell me where the progress is
Because there are still hungry poor kids in Oakland
There is still poverty
The world over
As we welcome 2015
Let us truly fight for peace

The Jolteon Jan 2015
The further down this path I get
The more lonesome I feel
Friends begin to get stripped away
Slipping through cracks in our lives
Family is dwindling
Either departed or moved away
My body even turns on itself
Breaking down healing slowly
To find space in this world some turn to jobs
But even those are few and far between
Though the road is lined with beautiful flowers
The concrete I walk on is cold hard
In my mind I do take refuge
But imagination can only get you so far
The Jolteon Jan 2015
The things that kept us close
Now tear us further apart
The Jolteon Jan 2015
Taking time to think over
These thoughts
What do i really
Wanna do
A little too much
Sometimes not enough
I guess that  I just give
What I can
And see
What you do

MLK
A radical
Bringing untamed justice
Wherever he step foot
Adamantly pursuing equality
He instilled faith in humanity
So that we may continue his struggle
It is far from over
It's any everyday fight
Today even mirrors
Many of Dr. Kings plights
