The Eastern world it is exploding,
cinders blowing in the wind, glowing at the rising sun.

To the sound of silence screaming its pain at the emptiness,
that was once our pride.

I gaze beyond the raging sea,
as the darkness comes and signals the end of our time.

On the eve of our destruction,
poets still write words that no one will hear, of love, life and Armageddon

Our light fades as the pen reaches the end of the page.
The book is closed.
Forgive me soldier, I never knew
How your life was wasted in such
Tragic tears
Your youth by the roadside just slipped away
Your beauty went with you
Your poetry too.

Born to be famous with beautiful
Words
Layed out in notebooks and on
Paper scrolls.
Never married, no children born
But I have your poetry in my drawer.

Sprinkled with star dust we’ll be Alright
We just Might
If we see the writing in the Midnight Moonlight
Could be a Rap:)
A barren field covered with snow
I walked and walked, where did I go

I turned, looked back, a feeling of woe
I could see not footprints in the snow

I walked back the way I'd came
Nothing looked quite the same

I turned, looked back to where I'd been
No sign of footprints could be seen

Then I remembered
It was
Just a dream
As I read your name
                           I wonder why
There are rolling white clouds in a big blue sky

As I read your name
                           It makes me smile
The walks we had down that long country mile

As I read your name
                            I start to cry
You said you'd never leave and I wonder why

As I read your name
                     I'm filled with pain
and wonder when we'll meet again

As they read our names
Love, Sorrow, Love
I will pause for a while
                                 To catch my breath
Let me lie in the grass and be still

I will dream of my love
Of a life that has run
How lucky I crossed that path

The life that I had
Is the life that we had
But to share it with you I was blest

When I awake
I will smile at the sun
And admire what god has begun

Then I’ll wait by the gate
For when your days are run
And we’ll lie in the grass and be still
I lost you in my thoughts
as I lose myself, thinking
Then I found what I was looking for
and you were gone
Thoughtfully, you left me a note
of what I've lost
