Softly walking on a hardened path
That’s never been trod before,
Casually seeing overused sights
For the very first time,
Subtly hearing deafening noises
Formerly ****** sound,
Quickly weighing synthetic thoughts
Too personal to keep.
Years back along a path
That’s been traveled just one way.
Miles during those years
Forever left behind
To friendship and failure,
Pleasure and terror
Connected to the love of others.
Creativity is seeing the same things that others see but seeing them in a different light or from a different perspective.
Responsible creativity must be shared no matter how personal.
Creative talents should be used for the benefit of loved ones and/or society in general. Talent is God-given and the expectation is we help our community and the world be a better place.
